日久失修的旅館
房間有日久失修的感覺, 地氈修邊已經破爛, 暖爐插蘇損毀, 洗澡企缸漏水等。 地點反而不錯, 走10分鐘可以到Takapuna市區, 離Devonport約10分鐘車程。 可以改善的地方是龍頭建議使用混合水掣。

Never stay here
Check in was difficult done via phone. Room was spartan with an all night party going on upstairs. Got no reply from reception. Very noisy. We left after only 1 night of 2 booked. Stay away from this place

I don’t know why I didn’t read the reviews before booking 3 nights here. The location was good for the event we were attending at Eventfinda, and it was spacious. However; no one was available to check in, I called the # on the door and was asked to provide my credit card details to verify my identity and get the key, I didn’t feel comfortable doing that, and I had already paid. After arguing backwards and forwards someone came out of reception with the key anyway? If it was there all along in really not sure why I had to go through all that. We didn’t see anyone else for the duration of our stay, we wanted to use the laundry that had a sign saying open 10-10 but it was locked the whole time. There are so many great options on the north shore, this is not one of them.

I stayed with 3 x 15 year old boys; we were there for a sports weekend. Property was fine for us. Our unit had a very old stove in it with solid cooking rings that took forever to heat up to cook on. Needed a couple of decent size bowls in the pantry for a salad/pop corn etc. We had to ask for a kitchen sink plug and tea towels. Property is dated and possibly needs a new coat of paint but was safe and the beds were comfy. And yes we would stay again with kids. Easy to find location and central to all the stadiums the kids were playing at. Having no one in reception was a new experience for us but the people that answered my phone calls were great. We were allowed a later checkout of 11am too.

We asked at least 3 times if the rooms were wheelchair accessible and if they had roll in showers. We were told yes each time but this was not the case. The rooms are absolutely not wheelchair accessible, nor are the bathrooms. Furthermore, some of the rooms were on the second floor and only accessible by stairs. As a result multiple people had to seek alternative accommodation. We were not offered any form of refund and were actually charged extra for an additional ground floor apartment.

Phoned 24 hrs before arrival as required, operator did not understand and said he will phone back. he never phoned back. Struggled to get a key and get simple instructions how to enter and get a key. Cupboard door broken in the room, No Ice trays or ice available, The room next door had a TV blaring a TALK SHOW all day and all night. There was no one to ask to have it turned off or report to. Room was clean but nothing compared to the picture on the internet

Back door in the bedroom had no lock other than a small chain to keep it closed. There were stains on the roof and holes in the wall.

Doesn’t look anything like the pictures, very run down, broken windows, gave us our room key didn’t fit in the door, rooms were cold, tried to use the heater but the plug got to hot and had to turn it off. Also other heater was broken and couldn’t use it. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, will not be staying here again.

The wifi was really bad as it kept disconnecting and to make it worse the location had bad mobile coverage so even using data was a nightmare. You couldn’t do a number 2 without blocking the toilet. They had a small playground of 2 swings which was falling a part. It does the job for somewhere to sleep at least.
