We chose the Rideau because of its location, as my husband has mobility issues. They were able to provide us with a wheelchair for his use for the duration of our stay at no charge. The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. The only downfall was while housekeeping provided us with new towels everyday our bed was never made after check in. I’m sure this was just an oversight as they were great in every other aspect. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Large room with 2 king size beds, mini fridge & microwave. Close to the festival we attended. Staff was super friendly. No compalints from us.

This had to be one of the best customer service oriented places I have ever stayed at. The owner was very helpful and prompt with any and all issues, and an overall very personable individual. We had an issue our first night with the bar under the hotel partying with loud music until 2am and she got them to stop. That was a godsend with a 4 year old in tow. She even moved us up to the second floor and further away from the noise which was a huge help. My only real “issues” of you can call them that, was that the beds in neither room were not particularly comfortable and were quite noisy, and the water pressure. Other than that great experience and we’ll be back.

The owner, Chrissy, was very helpful - offered use of tools to fix my bike! The fact that the owner is even at the location (and working!) says a lot about the establishment. I have noticed a huge improvement in cleanliness over the past several years - I noticed that while wearing white socks in the room. The pool is in the sun all day long! The location is so convenient being right on the boardwalk. My only wish would be a hair blow dryer in the room. Definitely a great experience - my husband and I have been staying here for about 20 years now and it keeps getting better.

The property person kept saying about poolside. She said she spoke to husband and didn't. She said she called but didn't receive one. Only real problem was dirty floors upon arrival. She thought we got them dirty just got there. Only one outlet to charge phone. Beds are old like Grandma. The young lady at desk is nice. Room decent. Bill print out said i paid little over 5 hundred. Was charged around 660 on card. Plus 22.00 additional at arrival. Why why the difference

I only stayed because I was tired from driving. Room was dirty, place is a dump. Got up in the morning and drove back home even though I paid for more than one night. I did not even want to shower in the place. Even the motel across the street had a full parking lot. There were 3 cars here. DO NOT STAY HERE
