We booked a premium deluxe room. The room was pretty tidy. But the service was really poor. The service hotline wasn’t friendly nor helpful. For example, I asked for an ice bucket then she told me I had had it in my room. Really? Alwsys had ice ready in the room or I have the bucket but no ice?
It wasn’t the worst part. We had a cake delivered to the hotel when we were out. We even called the hotel to make sure they were clear about my name and which room we were staying. When we came back, they said they couldn’t send it to the room. It was ok. But my husband had to wait for more than half an hour to find out where the cake was. The concierge told us we need to go to a bar to pick it up. Then the bar told us they never received a cake and we need to go back to check with the concierge. I wondered why couldn’t they just use the phones to communicate. Imagine it was your birthday and you wait in the room for long while your husband got so annoyed running around to find where your cake is.
