Inexpensive and centrally located hotel on Keisersgracht in Amsterdam, but there is nothing boutique about it. It is dark, worn, damp, noisy – and with little personal service. The receptionist who checked me in was more interested in her phone than in me.
I chose the hotel for the location (I attended a conference at Felix Meritis next door) and would choose it again for the same reason. But I would not stay here again otherwise.
And yes ... the shower drain was cloggeed when I arrived and the bathroom floor was flooded. Quick response from the reception fixed the problem – but did not clean the shower afterards so it was smelly and full of dirt.
On the positive side; free water and coffee in the reception.
