I recently stayed at this hotel in Lisbon, and there were some highlights. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of a vibrant area with lots to explore. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze.
However, I did encounter some significant issues. The corridors had a persistent, unpleasant smell that was quite off-putting. It seemed like the hotel was trying to mask it, but the result was just an overwhelming combination of odors.
I paid extra for a patio, hoping for a nice spot to relax, but it turned out to be right next to the HVAC system, which made it loud and uncomfortably hot. Additionally, there was a strong garbage smell coming from the basement, unfortunately close to the gym, so we couldn’t even use the facilities.
If you’re sensitive to odors, I would recommend considering another place. Even with a perfume shop inside the hotel trying to cover up the smells, it just made things worse. Overall, while the area and staff were great, the odor issues really impacted my experience.
