Property is converting to a full hotel but hasn’t quite made it yet. Would absolutely stay here again. Very clean rooms (daily service) and great AC (although thermostat did not work). Need to include Kleenex in the rooms and more than 1 bottle of water on checkin. Hallways had strong musty smell which needs to be fixed and artwork on the walls doesn’t match the elegant building. Owner should rethink the artwork. Great location and area tended to be quieter than surrounding areas.

Palazzo Gambirasi is an absolute gem in the heart of Centro Storico. I normally go for branded hotels but found this by chance and couldn’t have been happier. Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing location and a wonderful Rome vibe. Just walk out the door and you’re surrounded by restaurants and within easy walking distance to many classic sites. The room was clean and charming with an exposed rustic wood ceiling. I will definitely return.

If you are choosing between this and another hotel in Rome, I strongly suggest you choose the other one. While the hotel seems like a lovely place from the listing photos, my experience with the hotel's management with regard to my booking was shockingly negative and disappointing, and I imagine the extreme inflexibility and lack of concern they demonstrated to me would likely be reflected in other ways they treat their guests. Without going into all the details, the hotel refused to make any concession with regard to my 5-night booking which I was unable to use due to an emergency situation, charged me for the FULL amount of the stay, and refused even to provide some sort of credit or discount for a future stay, which the hotel manager had initially stated they would do. I have stayed at many wonderful hotels in Rome and never experienced anything like this. You would do well to choose another place to stay.

Sentralt og nydelig sted i gamlebyen. Anbefales! Nyoppusset og renovert. De ansatte var kjempehyggelig og hjelpsomme! Anbefaler en prat med de i lobbyen vis man vil spise ute på en finere restaurant. Hotellet ordnet Reservasjon på Michelin restaurant samme dag.
