This hotel is wonderful. Brilliant location, super central but quiet rooms. The breakfast is great especiallythe A la carte, do try it all. Every member of staff from house keeping, front of house, maintenance are so incredibly polite and kind. We couldn't fault it, thank you for an amazing stay

The property is well kept and clean. The breakfast is amazing! Location is awesome ! The front desk service was fast and also we happened to be lucky and get our room early . Definitely our go to hotel when we come back to the Azores .

This was a fantastic place to stay if you want a hotel accommodations but space for family. The bedrooms were large as were the bathrooms. The kitchen area was convenient for snacks,drinks and morning breakfast and heating up leftovers. The morning breakfast in the dinning area in the loby was peefect. Be sure to order off the menu too!! The balacony was nice to sit and people watch with a glass of wine or beer that you can buy at the grocery downstairs. Jason at the front desk was patient, helpful and very accommodating to your needs. He always had answers to your questions. Laura was funny, delightful and made the BEST recommendations for local places to eat dinner. The wait staff and cleaning staff were extremely kind and did a great job daily. The location is in the heart of the pier and at the center of local Punta Delgada life. Walk behind the hotel for shopping cafes and sightseeing traditional cobblestone streets. The hotel is only a short drive to numerous beautiful senic places and rural attractions. Get a taste of all that the Azores have to offer with the best choice of places to stay. Overall 5+ stars for a best experience at a hotel/apartment. Do not hesitate to stay here.

The staff at this hotel made our stay absolutely incredible! Not only were they helpful in providing restaurant recommendations, but they also helped coordinate a tour around the islands (ask for Pedro), taxis to and from different destinations since we didn't rent a car, and just overall were so friendly that it made our stay extra special.

Hotel is on the waterfront with a great location for walking to pretty much everything. Rooms are nice and clean with good amenities. Carla at the front was very helpful with extending my stay and varying recommendations for food and fishing opportunities. Breakfast is good and staff friendly and helpful. Thanks for everything!

We are very satified with our stay at Hotel Gaivota Azores. On top of the quality it provides, the staffs really was very helpful. Especially Carelina(?) who was the best in every way possible to make the guest feel personal.

The rooms were clean, modern and air conditioned. Bathroom and furniture were all in good condition and new. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I forgot my computer charger and called the front desk and they immediately arranged a taxi to drop it off at the airport. It is a great location right on the harbour and walking distance to all the sights in the city.
