We have stayed here many times before and have been very happy on each occasion - hence returning - but after our recent stay, we will not be visiting again. The ownership of the apartments had changed a few weeks prior to our stay and so on arrival we found that there was no-one to welcome us and check us in, no 24 hour reception, no complimentary breakfast service (as there always had been), no sky TV (as there always had been), no free parking (as there always had been) and no servicing of the apartment, so our tea, coffee, toiletries, loo roll etc were not replenished. We could however, have a breakfast hamper for £19 and have the room serviced for £25! Worst of all we weren't advised of any of this in advance to be able to change our booking, so all the free services we expected, we didn't receive. The owners claim that you have all the convenience and service of a hotel but this simply isn't true - there is actually no service at all! I complained to Hotels.com and they fobbed me off saying I should contact Dream Apartments direct, but on doing this, I have been ignored and they have even had the grace to reply to me about our experience.
Do beware when reading Tripadvisor or hotels.com reviews that anything posted before May 2019 is not an accurate reflection of the service you will now receive and the experience you will have when staying here.
We are really sorry about this change of service as we have always loved staying here, but won't do so again.
