I rarely leave negative reviews, but our stay was unacceptable.
We checked in on Saturday to find both elevators out of service, which meant carrying all of our luggage up six flights of stairs. On Sunday, one elevator was repaired, but within a couple of hours guests got stuck in it and it was shut down again. Management later claimed the elevators weren't out for a full 24 hours, but that's misleading. They technically worked for an hour or two before breaking again. We still had to use the stairs for nearly our entire stay.
The final straw happened Monday. We left to pick up our wedding cake, and when we returned, our room door was standing open and someone had clearly been inside. Thankfully nothing appeared to be missing, but that's a serious security issue.
When I spoke with the manager, I expected concern or at least an apology. Instead, he was dismissive and condescending. He repeatedly insisted the elevators had been working, essentially implying I was lying. I'd remember carrying luggage up six flights of stairs if they had been. He also kept brushing aside the fact that our room had been entered, choosing instead to tell me not to raise my voice.
Mechanical issues happen. Poor customer service doesn't have to. The lack of accountability and concern was more disappointing than the elevator problems. We left feeling ignored and questioning the security of our belongings. I would not stay here again. Do better!
