We were scammed. After communication with the hotel to be picked up at the Airport, we were driven do an apartment building, not the hotel. Taken up to a room on the 6th floor kitted up to look like to pictures of the room. After we got there we got a fraud alert for a $7000USD charge to the Fifa store. Feeling really in danger (super bad neighborhood and no one knowing where we were) we took off, grabbed an Uber back to the airport and slept on a bench for 7 hours. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY.

Wrong address caused confusion checked in at one location, shuttled to the correct hotel. At checkout, staff refused responsibility for keys, even though I wasn’t informed I needed to return them to the other location. I had to rush to catch my flight. Extremely frustrating will never return.

This property is perfect for 'solo' travelers having an independent personality. I can't recommend strongly enough to bring your own groceries and do your own cooking; if you rely on deliveries, your food will arrive unpleasantly cold (it happened to me with the breakfast included). There are no short distanced restaurants; some fast-foods are in the other side of the Zoo and require an unconfortable stroll in order to get them.

The room was tiny, we could barely fit. It was located off site of the main hotel about 15 mins away. It took us almost an hour to check-in and get our room. They gave us the wrong room as well. The breakfast was cold and we had to eat with our hands. This was by far one of the worse experiences we've ever had. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Finding the place wasn't easy for the taxi driver. They have a small sign on the wall above a gate. Then you had to push a button for someone to let you in. After I got there the gentleman at the desk told me he had to have a deposit which came to $124.59 U.S. I gave him my Amex card which just worked at a restaurant and I've used several times since without any problems. He said it wouldn't work. After I checked to make sure it wasn't frozen, I told him I could tap and pay with my Chase Sapphire Reserve card. He said OK and it went through. After it was charged he said that I had to give him my credit card number and expiration date. I told him that I won't do that as that's the whole reason for tap and pay is they never get that info. He put me on the phone with who he said was the manager. He told me that if I don't disclose my credit card number and expiration date that I can't stay even though I paid the deposit. So I had to leave without staying.

This room is not located in Zona 13. It's located in a questionable part of town. The address listed on the confirmation is incorrect. I'm thankful I didn't get out of the taxi because there is nothing there. I was told that if I had any visitors, they had to meet at the lobby, as they were not permitted to go up to the room. I never actually saw a lobby. When you check in, the attendant takes pictures of the room. When you check out, the attendant comes into the room and takes photos of it. I had to take my breakfast to go, and it consisted of one orange juice, one yogurt, and one apple. I didn't enjoy the experience. The only reason I'm actually giving it two stars is that it was very clean, and the shuttle was punctual.

1. This is a difficult property to review as there are some positives but significant negatives that overshadow the experience. Transparency is an issue, as the address you see on this app is not the address you stay at. You are driven several miles away to an apartment building. The building is very modern, clean, and well-secured, given that you appear to be in an industrial area. Read the other reviews here. The issues others cite we experienced as well. Different location, poor communication – never did receive the wifi password. I encourage Hotels.com staff to examine our communication thread. Obtaining food is problematic but solvable with your own initiative and by using food delivery apps at the building's security station.
