This is the worst hotel i had ever stay with!!
This is the worst hotel i had ever stay with!! Me and my friends total 5 pax booked the nite of 11Feb. We arrived at nite and could not locate the hotel coz they don't have any sign board at all! After serveral calls, the hotel people told us, we should drove inside a dark, narrow and muddy path under a signboard of an advertisment ! We passed by without noticing it coz there was no light at all! There was no T.V., no phone, no fridge, we asked the hotel people, they said they were under an Environment saving concept but eventually i found out it was due to a power shortage, the lights were frashing even we turned on our hair brower! That's not the worst part of it, there were broken cupboards, sleepers, water taps, smelly tissue, grey towels etc....There was no hotel service, amenities and security at all! When we went out at night and returned to the hotel around 11pm, everybody were asleep, the lights were off, no one at the lobby and the doors left opened! The hotel people expecting us to knock on their door in case anything runs out! My warmest reminder is not to recommend anybody to this hotel, it was a horrible experience!

Very nice hotel staff and enjoyable scenery
We booked a deluxe room for 2 nights. Though the location is a bit far away from the city centre of Yangshuo (20 minutes cycling distance), the landscape near the hotel is great and the hotel staff are very friendly and gave us a warmhearted welcome. We felt like living in a local family home for 3 days. There are only basic facilities in the room without TV and telephone. But the room we booked is spacious, clean, old China style and with an enjoyable mountain and river view. Strongly recommend to try the food (especially the curry chicken with rice and club sandwiches!) in the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel. The food is freshly made and tasted so good. And surprisingly, the staff prepared a home-made cake and birthday drink for us when I told them I would celebrate my boyfriend's birthday in the hotel. Had a very nice and relaxing stay. Would definitely go back next time!

창밖의 풍경은 매우 아름다웠고, 직원들은 매우친절해서 좋았음. 호텔바로앞이 공사중으로 복잡한것이 흠이었지만.. 2개월뒤면 공사완료라고 함. 호텔이라기보다 중국의 특색있는 민박으로 시설은 떨어지지만, 풍경 및 서비스 고려시 강추!

Hotellets placering er rigtig god og ligger i et roligt område. Man har den flotteste udsigt fra værelset og hotellets terrasse. Gåafstand til gode restauranter, cykelafstand til meget flotte områder og cykel/køreafstand til Yangshuo. Hotellets indretning er charmerende i gammel kinesisk stil og der er rart, stille og hyggeligt. Hotellet er generelt i god stand. De laver en fin morgenmad. Vi var meget glade for vores ophold på hotellet og vil varmt anbefale det til andre.

The Hidden Dragon Village is a beautiful building in an old style in the heart of nature. The hotel overlooks the river and all the peaks, and is a nice, quiet getaway from the very touristy Yangshuo town. The views are definitely some of the best ones we got. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They booked us excellent seats for the Impressions Light Show, tickets for the water cave, etc. all at face value / cost (e.g. there is no booking mark-up - it's simply a service they offer). This was easy for us, because we got a receipt from the hotel and simply exchanged the receipt for a ticket at the ticket office. We also booked a massage with them, and the massage therapist was EXCELLENT and came to the hotel. We were there during low season, and the staff were all very welcoming and often played with our 6 month old, who was traveling with us. The staff also helped us with some late night rides to a nearby restaurant another night, because we were traveling with a baby. The rooms are nice and there was clearly thought that went into the materials and decorations. They're not luxury accommodations, but they are clean and have all the basic necessities. We stayed during the off season, during one of the coldest weeks of the year, and the AC unit had trouble keeping our room very warm. But if you're not traveling in the dead of winter, this likely won't be an issue. There's also a great booklet in the rooms with tons of tips for all of the Yangshuo sites & activities

Accueil très sympathique et région très sympa. petit-déjeuner possible sur la terrasse avec une superbe vue. les lits sont confortables et les douches très très bien. vous pouvez louer des scooter a l hôtel à un tarif très très bon marché pour réaliser de très belles balades dans la région.

A gem
We stayed at the Hidden Dragon for a long weekend and we enjoyed every second. What magnificent surroundings, sitting every morning and night at the rooftop enjoying the view. The rooms are simple, but more than adequate and clean. The staff was helpful and smiling. The restaurant is quite slow in serving both breakfast and dinner. But we just kicked-back and enjoyed the view while waiting. For us the Hidden Dragon made Yangshou an extraordinary experience.

Awesome Resort
Every service staff is helpful and friendly. They were more like my friends. I will miss the place and all of them. Thank you very much for making my stay comfortable. Must try their Beer Fish, it's simply delicious. You have to order in advance though.

Stunning Scenery
This hotel is located in a small village area which was a nice change from the cities we stayed in elsewhere in China. It iis a little isolated but you can walk to restaurants in another area about 10 minutes away. The hotel was quiet and relaxing and the views outside the windows are amazing.

Personalized service every step of the way
Stayed in this hotel for four days, and the dedication to customer service of the staff is outstanding. We got to know Elle and Lyn and Jerry even before arriving as we had so many questions about the hotel and how to plan our vacation in Yangshuo. They spoke good English and helped us every step of the way from picking us up at the Yangshuo train station to planning our itinerary each day and then bringing us to the Guilin train station for our trip home.

Nice place to stay in Yangshou
The staffs were very friendly and helpful especially Jerry who helped me arrange for my trip to the train station in Xingping. The view in the area is nice but a little far from the city and the arrangement to pick up the guests from the pier could be improved. Overall, it is a nice place.
