Girls Trip April 2025

We went to TRS for a girls' trip and were impressed with the property. The lobby/main building is beautiful, and check-in went smoothly. We stayed in Villa 69, directly across from the smaller, more chill pool. We had jacuzzi poolside suites that were very spacious and clean. There are a lot of mirrors and areas to get ready and store your clothes and toiletries. Robes and slippers. The e-butlers were great in helping us with reservations, drinks for the room, cart service throughout the property, etc. The food at the restaurants was a bit hit or miss for us. We especially liked the food at Capricho and La Boheme. The Chic Caberet is fun but not as sexy as you imagine by the dancers before the show. The infinity pool was our favorite. We were too scared to get into the saltwater one. We did the hydro experience at the spa, which was "ok". Drinks were ever-flowing and not watered down. Room service late at night was terrible and took 2 hours for delivery. Our other hiccup was that the bellman didn't pick me up with my daughters as arranged, which caused a delay, stress, and a rushed breakfast before our transport arrived. This is an excellent place for a more relaxing and quiet vacation. If you want a nightclub and a crazy pool-side party vibe, you will end up at their sister Colonial property for a swim-up bar and live music. Shout out to Belen, Hugo, Alejandro and Nestor.

The property itself is absolutely beautiful. Probably the best I have ever stayed. The convenient transportation to and from the other hotels was another bonus. Excellent food at the Italian and Argentine restaurant. The food at the Brazilian restaurant was not good ... dry meat and the salad bar had empty lettuce bowls. Plenty of beautiful areas to stroll both day and night. What was very disappointing ... the room smelled like mold and the bathroom smelled like old urine. We were told it's because of the humid weather. It was so strong that all of our clothing smelled like mold by the time we got home. Suitcases smelled like mold, as well. The TRS beach has extremely limited seating so we were unable to enjoy that. And we were told the other beaches were off limits. The pools, as well, were always full so we spent the majority of our time at the family pools. We were never able to enjoy the saltwater pool or the infinity pool. But the worst part of all was the 3 hour long presentation on day one to join the Palladium member club ... for 50K dollars! We only had two days at the resort and the entire morning of day one was spent with this craziness. No time to enjoy anything. And we weren't able to break away. Three different sales people, driven around to look at other rooms, a 10 minute breakfast because the sale promotion had to get rolling. Unbelievable. Nobody warned us about this or gave us the option to say "thanks, but we are not interested".

Para ser honestos, todo estuvo muy bien. El check-in fue sencillo y rápido. Te dan una bienvenida con un vino espumoso muy rico y por tener la experiencia VIP con Expedia, nuestro bottler se nos acercó muy rápido a darnos todos los detalles de nuestra estancia. Bebidas y Alimentos - Las bebidas son de buena calidad y claro que dependerá de la mano de cada bartener y su toque a cada bebida es lo que hace la diferencia. En cuanto a los alimentos, son de buena calidad y se siente fresco y recien hecho. Algunos restaurantes mas ricos que otros pero en general todo bien. Cabe mencionar que si buscas un nivel de bebidas premium, si tieneb un costo adicional, pero el whiskey o tequila por ejemplo que ya viene en paquete es bastante bueno (black label, don julio, 1800). Habitaciones - Las habitaciones son cómodas y espaciosas, el servicio de limpieza es excelente. No hay mucho que mencionar. Tambien el que cada villa tenga a su mayordomo, esta excelente. Transporte - Creo que pueden mejorar en el servicio de transporte de carritos, pero tengo entendido tambien hay mucha demanda de huespedes y el complejo es enorme. Staff was amazing, property was beautiful and food was delicious. Only issue is the ability to make reservations for dinner is extremely difficult and depending on the day you arrive is not even an option as they fill up at the beginning of the week. Which means was unable to eat where we wanted

We have stayed here previously and enjoyed ourselves. This time we found we were not accommodated as previously. We were only provided dining hours between 9-10 pm. There were no available seats at the pool after 7:30 am.

We got married at the grand palladium a few years ago and wanted to try the TRS side. This experience was the most magical. Expedia and TRS made sure to go above and beyond with the booking and accommodations. Our personal butler Luiso had become our best friend and we were always taken care of! Trust we will come back again and again! We are already planning to come back in October

This place was beyond luxurious. I would say, perfection. I can’t say enough about the kind and welcoming staff. They go out of the way to ensure your comforts are met. They pay incredible attention to details and treat you wonderfully. The property grounds are immaculate. The dining options are amazing, and the food was cooked perfectly. I wish we had stayed longer, there are endless things to do at the property. We stayed in the Ambassador Suite, we were offered a discounted upgrade on arrival from our original reserved Garden view pool suite. This room was out of this world amazing. We did also see the original room we had booked and it was incredible as well. You can access all places through a short walk through the amazing bridges in the mangroves. You can also access via the continuous golf cart type vehicles that are readily available and comfortable. The beaches are perfect, with plenty of in beach dining. The salt water pool was our favorite, you are able to swim with fish that filter in from the ocean. There was a butler available to us to provide us with what ever we needed. We couldn’t be more satisfied. We can not wait to go and stay with TRS Yucatan again!
