There are restaurants in short distance travel by car and great options for delivery. The location is out of the way of traffic very quiet, clean and they validate parking and have your vehicle waiting for you when you stay the night.

Everything went as I expected it too. The room was large for a New York City hotel. I especially enjoyed all of the photographs in the lobby and in the lounge on the second floor by a curated photographer. All of the photographs where relevant from historical to modern Harlem life.The great surprise was that sleeping in the room was like sleeping in a cocoon because it was so quiet; did not hear any outside traffic at all, and the blackout curtain was wonderful.

Absolutely loved our stay! This hotel was absolutely beautiful, the staff were exceptional, and the location couldn’t have been better. Everything felt welcoming and well cared for. I was a bit bummed that the pool and spa were still under construction because I would have definitely taken advantage of them, and I wish there was more dining/drink options on-site. Still, those were minor issues compared to how much we enjoyed everything else. Easily a 9/10 and I highly recommend. And can we talk about how amazing the hotel smells? This place is truly a hidden gem. I hope it never loses the charm, warmth, and character that make it so special

The hotel recently opened, but in my opinion they opened too early. When I perused the listing on Hotels.com, it was not mentioned that neither the pool or the restaurant were functional. Why is there no effort to confirm that a property actually has or provides the listed amenities??????!!!!!?????? I would stay here again if, and when the property has been finished.

We needed our stay to be close to the manhattan school of music for my daughter’s audition. It was perfect, upscale and comfortable. We didn’t eat there or use the amenities. Just the room. The shower was my favorite part of the whole trip lol.

What a pleasant surprise! The hotel is located in Harlem, away from the heavy traffic and crowds. Since the property is relatively new, cleanliness was outstanding and clearly a top priority. The lobby, bar, and outdoor seating areas were all attractive, modern, and well maintained. The staff were kind. The only drawback was that the hotel restaurant was not open during my stay. Before checking in, I visited the Renaissance Hotel, also located in Harlem, and became a bit concerned because it was very crowded, noisy, and did not appear to be as clean. Fortunately, my concerns disappeared once I arrived at this hotel, which provided a much more comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Our stay was not long, but it was pleasant. The staff were lovely, helpful and had welcoming smiles. The room and hallways were up to date and clean. We were on the 11th floor. During our time there, it was quiet. We had a salad and sandwich for lunch from the bar and they both hit the spot. Good job at The George Manhattan.

Perfect and clean rooms, small but efficient and very clean gym, smelled amazing, staff was SO kind, helpful, and always available. They made the stay even better! Any requests were granted promptly, broken iron was replaced within minutes, soft comfy robes...Beyond happy with this stay and will definitely be back!!

Everything about my stay here was seamless. It’s a newer property—it’s very simple, clean and on-brand. Harlem is quite busy and the noise can be heard on almost any floor. To my surprise, this was the quietest stay I’d had in a long time and this is coming from a former neighbor. Staff was pleasant and took care of me.
