First and foremost, I don’t usually take time to write reviews, but my stay at Emilion warranted that I take the time to share my exceptional experience while staying at Emilion during our family vacation (Jun 2025).
From the moment we stepped in till the moment we boarded the shuttle to the airport, the staff at Emilion left no stone unturned to make our trip absolutely exceptional. Both Aslan and Mehmud were always there to help with anything we needed.
The hotel is a cozy and brand new place in the Sultan Ahmet area of Istanbul. This hotel is located within the tiny streets surrounded by shops and restaurants, tram station to easily commute to tourist sites both inside and outside Sultan Ahmet area. Hagia Sofia is barely 8 min walk (with kids), this area also has the palace, cisterns, mosques, museums etc. Grand bazar is also in the same area.
This hotel being brand new, is built to modern luxury expected these days. Honestly the bathroom and lighting setup was better than most Marriott properties and was on par with Ritz/ Conrad type places. Very quiet and the bedding was nice and comfortable.
It is a cozy hotel, do not expect massive lobbies, room service, lounges etc, but what they lack in space, they make up with their service. I have traveled the world and honestly, this is one of the better places I have stayed with my family. We travelled with our two children and we were given the corner two rooms with another door so we can use that as a luggage storage area.
