Hotellet ligger trevligt i djungeln om man gillar det. Lite slitet men ok för priset. Trevligt poolområde. Ligger en bit från centrum, så man måste ta taxi.

Excellent alternative hotel lodge.
Great stay, great location, is exactly what it says it is. Lovely pool, excellent rooms, food is a bit pricey here and customer service was fairly average to really push this accommodation to the next level.

Disappointing stay
The resort is tired and could do with an upgrade. The pool area lacked shade for all sunbeds. The air conditioning was not working in one room and in our second was not up to the job in the summer heat. We had to have the sheets changed and the towels did not smell fresh even after we changed them. The staff were very nice but not able to change the fabric of the hotel

Peaceful stay in the jungle!
Amazing place in Iguazu - it is the jungle, so adjust your expectations accordingly. WiFi is spotty at times (like streaming is unlikely to work for extended periods) but is fine for getting online. Also we went in summer (Dec) so many bugs! Bring bug spray : ) All drivers arranged by the staff were awesome and it was a beautiful property.

Hard to recommend
A number of things make it hard to recommend this place. We figured the shower had not been cleaned. Drinking glasses were poorly washed (old lipstick and big smudges). I know that we must expect humidity in the jungle, but our room smelled horribly musty. The pillows reaked and now that we have left, my whole suitcase and my hair smell bad. The toilet broke and overflowed on the floor. It took at least 3 hours for someone to show up to fix it as we had to complain twice at the front desk. It was our day to relax at the property and we couldn't use our washroom. No apologies whatsoever or an offer to make it right. The pool area is nice but had very merky water. Again, not very inviting and wondering about the cleanliness. On the positive side, there was a good breakfast spread. We took one lunch on site. It was expensive and nothing to rave about.

Staff provided outstanding services. It is in a quiet environment with a jungle-like set-up. Inclusion of breakfast in a buffet set-up was good with hot food items and fresh fruits. Check-in is at 2 pm; however, if you arrive early and would like to start sightseeing before check-in, the hotel has storage room where you can safely leave your luggage. I would have given all 5 stars if the digital lock of the safe deposit box in our room works and 2 complimentary bottled water have been provided each day for me and my husband during our 2-night stay.

La Aldea is a spacious property with buildings laced together with pathways through scenic jungle foliage. Every type of wood is used in fixtures and furniture. Complimentary breakfast buffet. Beautiful experience in every way.
