Has the essentials
The hotel is relatively close to most of the restaurants and shops, but it is up a hill. The hotel leaves a lot to be desired. It’s an older building and the furniture and linens are very basic. The kitchen is a nice feature, but there was something on the side of my fridge that was not cleaned well. I never saw one staff member while I was there. My keys to the room were left at the window when I arrived. I was also under the assumption that they offered transportation to and from the ferry and that is not the case. I did have an ocean view from my window, and the beds were comfortable, and the water pressure was good. I don’t know if I would stay here again, but overall, it was a clean room and had what I needed but not a hotel to sit in and enjoy.

Overall the room was clean and comfortable. However I believe the smoke alarm and the Carbon monoxide alarm were both not functioning. The Carbon monoxide alarm was missing a battery and it was out of date. The smoke alarm light was not flashing so I believe it also was not functioning.

Clean comfortable, free HBO
It is a mini suite so the fridge, microwave , and stove are a nice touch, I didn’t cook while we were here, but I’m sure it would be great for a family with children. It was clean , it was great.

Nice and spacious, but no heat
The heater was out, it was cold. The check-in and out office is not really manned, you have to call. Spacious and full kitchen with pans. Had a small, expandable dining table with 2 chairs. The bed was comfortable, curtains let a lot of light in at night. They gave us suite 106.

For the money stay somewhere else
Guy called me on the way there. Ran my card before I arrived which never happens. Charged me the wrong amount. Room was pretty dirty and the beds are so uncomfortable we left a day early. Room has a really bad smell in it. It’s out dated and not worth the money. Guy at the front desk was cool.

I am 61 and came out for a wedding. The mattress was uncomfortable and felt as if I would roll off, if I did not lay in the indent sweet spot. The smell as I walked in old musty moldy smell had to buy a spray when airing it out did not help. Check in was at 2pm with payment yo be collected at time or arrival at property. They ran my card for the inital payment before the 2pm check in time. What happened to pay at property? So buyer beware you literally get less that what you pay for. Reminded me of the travelocity gnome comercial of what a room looks like online VS reality. Spend the money and get a better place.

We had a great stay. The one wish is that they would have had accommodations for our luggage prior to our boat departure. Staff was friendly, room was clean, and the room was actually available earlier than expected with was great.
