A bit run down but comfortable and with everything I needed. Parking is a bit tight, would be difficult with a big car, shower didn’t drain well, blinds were broken, TV didn’t work and wifi didn’t reach my room but room and bed linen were clean, very comfortable bed, good hot water. Overall very good value for money given where it is! With a bit of investment it could really be cracking. The building is old and as such it has some beautiful character, including lovely stained glass, but also some narrow stairs. I’d stay again but wouldn’t book a room there for my boss!

As a budget hotel it’s ok for the price, but the decoration needs refreshing & the car park cleared of rubbish & boarders trimmed back - OK for isolated stays but not ongoing stays for professional people.

Bedding dated although bed comfy bathroom horrible as stank of sewage made me retch justto go in there so couldnt shower as anything longer the urinatuon would make u sick room was cold heating only cane on intermittenly so woke yp frozen in morning

Good stay if you're not going to be spending much time in your hotel room as there was black mold and spider webs in my hotel room. Amenities were lacking and no room service or cleaning done for the entire stay. However, staff were very nice and helpful. Might go back.

The woman sitting at a tiny table with a laptop got every room mixed up, I ended up in a family room with my sibling, my 2 elderly great aunts were put in a double and my great uncle ended up in a single room which was in the attic, she had no idea and obviously gave the rooms to all the wrong people despite me showing her my booking! The whole place smelt damp and was dirty throughout, the beds were disgusting as was everything else, couldn't wait to get out of that horrible old rundown awful 'guest house'
