Not

First off, convenient location to downtown Kelseyville, and the proprietor was friendly, as was the cat..lol. Unfortunately, beyond that, not good. Run down property, and filthy room. Dead plants in planter boxes, and gross furniture outside. Inside, dirty worn-out linens and towels. Yucky stuff on ceiling, and moldy shower curtain. (See photos). And it seemed like there were some 'long term' guests staying there. I'm not a picky person when it comes to budget lodging, but this place is a borderline health code violation.

Unfortunately, door safety locks and window locks were broken and blow dryer did not work properly. Shower water was hot and towels were okay.

I drove all day . Was super tired about to fall asleep driving.i had a reservation that a family member got for me ahead of time.i showed up around 1130pm he would not answer door for over a hour and half. the family member told him that I was checking in that she was getting room for me I had a id first off I noticed he was watching porn in the house part.the office smelt like strong body order .and stong smell of pee he told me.he could not let me stay because i did not have credit card .so i slept in cab of my truck. In parking lot I disputed charge the next day .thay lied and said I never showed up very dishonest I have never felt so disrespected .thay probably have bed bugs I would never take my family there I do not recommend this place dirt dishonest rude very unprofessional

Check in was sloppy, manager was barefoot and berating a housekeeper in front of me. Room was sloppy, furniture scratched and stained, terrible paint with empty picture hooks sticking out, stained bedspreads(which did not fit the beds), dingy and stained towels & bath mats, 2 double beds with one jammed up against the wall blocking access to the air conditioner and window. Floor planks peeling up in font of bathroom sink. Very strong smell of bug spray or disinfectant (had to sleep with sheet covering my nose and mouth). Couldn't switch rooms, they were full. Couldnt switch motels, limited selection on fairly short notice.

The owner or night manager was rude, unfriendly … plain miserable man! The door lock jammed and i couldn’t get out of the room. He came … he complained. Then to recoup my senses I stepped outside to take a breath and locked myself out, leaving my card key in the room. Had to get him again and he said “if you do that again you’ll have to leave!” Granted locking myself out was my dumb mistake but his comment was uncalled for and definitely not a friendly man running the place. Never here again … yuk!
