My family and I stayed at this hotel for six nights, occupying three rooms—one twin and two singles. I was in one of the single rooms and wanted to share both the positives and the problems we encountered to inform others.
I would first like to commend a member of staff who served us breakfast on most mornings (he seemed to be off on the 18th). He was friendly and took the time to clearly explain the menu options. All the breakfasts were delicious.
Regrettably, I must express my disappointment with the hotel's facilities and the conduct of one particular male staff member, a young man with a beard, which significantly marred my experience.
My stay was fraught with a series of issues. On the night of the 15th, all the electrical sockets in my room (a single) stopped working. I reported this to a female staff member, but she was unable to resolve the issue before her shift ended around 10 PM. The responsibility then fell to the young male staff member. He attempted to reset the fuses, but I indicated that this was unlikely to solve the problem. Eventually, it was decided that I would need to move rooms. While I appreciated that a solution was offered, it was inconvenient to repack my belongings after having already settled in for the night.
I had hoped that would be the end of the matter, but unfortunately, the following night, the air-conditioning unit in the new room failed. It would switch itself off automatically just s
