Our stay was overall good, the staff was accommodating and helpful. There were vending machines, free drinks and a microwave in the hotel. Some drawbacks: stains on the walls in our room, the hotel smelled like smoke pretty much everywhere and the hotel was not eco friendly. The towels were replaced every day even if hanging and when we requested no room cleaning, they provided clean towels anyway. There are multiple combined washer/dryers that were helpful to have but the dryer was not great, took 3 extra drying sessions and some items were still damp.

The hotel was convenient and a 5 min walk to train stations - JR & Metro. Also, above were shopping centres and restaurants. Neighbourhood is excellent with Lawson & Family Lawson next door - 24 hours with food. There's also a takoyaki stand across from the hotel that opens in the evening and it was very good! Hotel was super clean and housekeeping staff were excellent.

Convenient place to stay

Location is good, in city center, lots of shops and resturants around. 5 minutes walk to Ikebukuro station. Staff is nice. Luggage storage is possible on check-in and check-out date. Room is generally clean but quite small for 2 persons and a bit old. You are not able to change the temperature of the air cond. All you can only control is “high mid low” of the wind. In general, not an extraordinary stay but not bad.

I liked this hotel because it was not too far from Ikebukuro Station. Many restaurants and shopping close by. The breakfast buffet at "Restaurant Saison" located in the basement of the hotel was great! Many foods, drinks, and dessert to choose from! My room had air conditioning, but the temperature could not be adjusted. Only the fan speed could be adjusted. The hotel policies and instructions located in the desk in a binder stated the room's temperature could not be adjusted. It was not a big deal, but could be helpful to those who must have a very warm or very cool room.

You get what you pay for

Personally not the quality I'd try again. Bed covers - had stains Aircon - The worst, even on its highest setting it was still hot, no cold air at all as there was no temperature control. They have an odd procedure for crime prevention where you must give the key to the reception before you leave and collect upon return. There is also no key activation for the lift into the guest floors so anybody can enter. There is a mandatory housekeeping every 3 days.

1. 每次出門都要交鎖匙俾Reception, 返黎要講房號，問姓名先俾key, 真係好麻煩，仲要用鎖匙唔係用卡，點解唔用卡，拍卡先入到Lift &入房咪唔怕保安問題......依間細酒店，係我見過最多Reception, 最多見過5-6個，因為拎key 問題要咁多人手，好落後。 2. 廁所超細，應該係我住過日本酒店最細。 3. 冷氣係中央冷氣，較到最大都唔涼。 4. 因為冷氣唔夠，房間有霉味。 5. 冇USB 插頭，冇轉換線提供，好落後。 6. 牆身 & 門都冇掛衣勾，得廁所有1個，唔方便 7. 我一家3口，check in 時突然話要俾600 Yen, 稅，去咗日本超過20次，每次都信用卡預先俾哂錢已包括10%稅，從未試過到步要再收稅金。 8. 唯一可取地點唔錯，每層樓有水機冰機。
