Moderno in zona molto comoda; (la mia) camera ni.
Hotel moderno in una struttura più antica, con personale molto disponibile. La mia stanza era al piano terra, non particolarmente comoda come posizione e con finestre che danno sul retro dove passa o si ferma il personale di servizio. Bagno molto ampio. Camera nella norma, con spazi non troppo ampi invece. Ho usufruito della palestra che si trova su un terrazzo con ingresso dall'esterno. Piccola, e se si è più di due non ci si sta bene. Colazione ottima, internazionale, con in piu latte di mandorla, e Antonio che trattiene piacevolmente gli ospiti. Si trova in un punto da cui è possibile raggiungere il centro in P.za Università e il Parco Bellini e muoversi agevolmente con i mezzi.

My wife and I stayed at Romano House on two occasions recently while coming/going to Sicily through Catania. Roberta checked us in both times. She was extremely gracious and helpful. She greatly simplified our travels by suggesting use of the Metro, which stops only a block away, to get to bus and train stations. The breakfast was very good. Although not located in our favorite part of the city, Romano House proved to be an excellent stay on both visits, and we would certainly return.

A cut above
After staying at many different properties at a similar price point around Sicily, Romano House stands out. Modern, comfortable, exceptionally helpful and accommodating staff, good breakfast selection. Small things you might take for granted elsewhere but aren't common in Sicily that made our stay better. Conveniently located in the city center as well. Recommended.

Maybe better if you like to party
Positives: Really nice staff. Breakfast included. Good location if you want to hit the main tourist spots. Good restaurants and shopping nearby. Buses nearby. Can walk to the train station too. Negatives: Very weird layout for a room. I felt like i was in a pre-fab house. Noise was a significant issue for me: shoes from the room above, as well as the late-night partying on the terrace. I wore earplugs. Not a good place if you are sensitive to noise, or don’t forget your earplugs.
