The relentless road traffic noise from the 3 roads ( 2 of which are main trunk roads into funchal with non stop busses and coaches) spoilt what is otherwise a very good appartment. It has all you need in it and the location ( other than being on a trunk road) is great . The check in process is a pain if you have not sent copy of your passport ahead. The B&B you have to find is at least 1/2 mile away and up steep steps. Also, finding the appartment was initially not very easy on google maps.

The room was very clean and a perfect configuration for a couple to hang out and relax as well as a place to sleep. We appreciated the kitchenette, the laundry facilities that were free including detergent, and the location was great. It was super quiet in the area and only a few steps away from the old part of town.

It was in a very good location for shopping, public transport and close to the sea. Room was spacious for 2 and had all amenities you need for a self catering trip. We only had a couple of problems with the room; 1. The air conditioning unit kept making a load buzzing noise almost every hour which disrupted our sleep sometimes. 2. Upon arriving in the room it had a damp / smoke smell which we had to air out for a little while at the beginning.

Stayed in a room that hosted me and two friends. The location to check-in was close to the apartment and walkable. There are a lot of cute shops and restaurants that are walkable from this location. Communication through WhatsApp was very smooth with the host. There is an elevator so you don’t have to only rely on stairs to bring your luggage upstairs. All in all a good stay!

Fantastisk

Et særs komfortabelt opphold sentralt i Funchal. Stor og fin leilighet med alt en trenger av utstyr på kjøkkenet. God seng, aircondition og fint bad. Ved avreise til flyplassen kunne jeg bare gå noen få skritt ned til Mercado bussholdeplass og ta Aerobus derfra.

**Modern apartment, Great Location and Views** The property is well-situated—perfectly walkable to most places—with truly lovely views that make it a pleasant base for exploring Madeira. The bed was comfy, and having kitchen facilities added great flexibility to the stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming. A deeper clean would go a long way, especially when it comes to the floors, which could use more attention. A small but thoughtful addition like guest slippers would really enhance comfort, especially given the current state of the flooring. In short, it's a charming place with excellent potential—ideally located and warmly staffed—but just needs a bit more care in cleanliness to match the beauty of its surroundings.
