The 2.5-mile Broadwalk offers beachside bliss with ocean waves on one side and shops, restaurants, and live music on the other. Feel the Atlantic breeze while strolling past colorful pavilions or catch a show at the Hollywood Beach Theatre. When ready for action, try paddleboarding or kick back at the iconic Margaritaville resort. Beach dining ranges from fresh seafood to casual American fare, with most places offering dreamy ocean views. Hotels and resorts line the waterfront with pools and beach access, though prices reflect the prime location. The neighborhood's high walkability means visitors can ditch the car and enjoy everything from morning beach yoga to evening cocktails just steps away.

Hollywood Central Business District
Hollywood's Central Business District buzzes with energy where cultural flair meets nightlife action. ArtsPark at Young Circle serves as the neighborhood's heart, hosting live performances under swaying palms. Explore the vibrant Hollywood Boulevard with its neon-lit restaurants, catch a show at the Art and Culture Center, or dive into local history at the Hollywood Historical Society. Food options range from upscale steakhouses to casual Cuban cafeterias where stone crab and grouper steal the show. Most attractions sit within easy walking distance thanks to wide sidewalks and bike lanes. When the sun sets, the district transforms as sports bars and live music venues keep the energy flowing until late.

Learn more about Hollywood
Between Miami and Fort Lauderdale lies a slice of old Florida that refuses to be overshadowed by its flashier neighbors. The famous Broadwalk (not boardwalk) offers a car-free promenade where rollerbladers glide past families enjoying oceanfront dining. Kayak through mangrove tunnels at West Lake Park, where herons pose like statues among twisted roots. The ArtsPark at Young Circle hosts free concerts under the stars, while downtown's mural-covered buildings house galleries that come alive during monthly art walks. Hard Rock's guitar-shaped hotel towers incongruously over this otherwise low-key beach town. For the best local experience, grab breakfast at one of the mom-and-pop diners where regulars debate which beach access point has the perfect sunrise view.

Costa Hollywood Beach Resort
"We went the first week of September. The check in was perfect, our room was ready early. The room was very clean. The bathroom had a great shower with a rain shower head. The bed had a great mattress if you like it in a the softer side. There are blackouts blinds in the bedroom and I. The leaving room. The kitchen was very well furnished and equipped. We did not miss anything during the stay to cook in. There are no garbage chute at the floor level. We had a washer/dryer unit. Very practical after a beach day. The hotel guest get 2 long chairs at the beach per room which is great as it is expensive to rent (20 USD per chair per day). It should include as well an umbrella per room but since it is not currently offered, you will need to pocket out 30USD for an umbrella per day- which is ridiculous- a quick trip at Walmart or Publix resolved this problem where we got 2 big umbrellas for $18 USD each. The boardwalk is good, did not really love it but nice for a change at night. If you want to extend your room past 11am, you can do up to 2pm but the place does not offer it complementary - $75 USD for 3 hours is expensive. Overall, good place to stay, the premises was quiet. The beach was very nice and not too busy- got busy during Labor Day weekend but otherwise very relaxed."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Hollywood
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Hollywood is between August and October, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For those looking to make the most of their trip, staying for at least 3 to 4 days is ideal to explore notable landmarks, cultural sites, and historical attractions. During your visit, you can enjoy the beach, partake in lively dancing and entertainment, experience live music, take scenic walks, savor delicious dining options, and attend vibrant festivals or excursions. This timeframe offers great value for money, allowing you to immerse yourself in the rich culture of Hollywood without breaking the bank.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers a variety of opportunities to save on your trip to Hollywood. To start, check out the DealsOpens in a new window section for potential savings, and you may discover last-minute deals when browsing the Last-Minute Deals area close to your travel date. You can also enable email alerts or push notifications to stay updated on flash sales. Using the Smart Shopping tool available via the app, you're more likely to see comparisons of hotel prices and amenities, helping you secure a last-minute getaway if prices drop or rooms become available.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors including the hotel's location, star rating, and season, so being flexible with your travel dates might help you save on your stay at a Hollywood hotel. Boutique hotels also offer a more personalized experience and could provide better value for those seeking a unique stay. When you book with Hotels.com, we'll indicate if the price for your chosen dates is higher or lower than average, and if it's on the higher side, we may suggest more budget-friendly dates that could help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the downtown area usually come with a higher price tag, but thanks to Hollywood's efficient public transportation network, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel located further away that is still well connected. For travelers interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even nearby lesser-known cities, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
