Not trustworthy
This is a newer hotel and they are still trying to work out some of the kinks. For example, we had smoke alarm beeping in the evening but they didn’t have a battery to replace. Room was clean but furniture setup was kinda weird. Walls are thin so you can hear even a normal conversation in the next room. Bathroom shower didn’t have a door or a curtain so water was splashing out making most of the bathroom floor wet. Elevator floor does not line up with each level. On the positive note, location was great, within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Staff tried to accommodate to your needs. My biggest issue, however, is that they charged $200 deposit rather than just a holding which should have been in pending status only. I called them 3 times already and every time they acknowledge the issue but money is still not refunded. I am about to contact my credit company for help. I would never stay in this hotel again.

I asked for a refund and I was not given one. Hotel had no hot water in the unit I was staying in. The shower continued to get the outside walk area wet because the shower door didn’t close all the way.

One night stay in Miramar, Puerto Rico
The service is impeccable: they really strive to contribute and make a difference. The room we stayed at was small but comfortable. The security is good. The hotel has only been open for 6 months, so everything looks new. The only glitch we found was not enough hot water. I'll ask the staff about it when we check out today. We only stayed 1 night.

We had an amazing stay at the Ola Boutique Hotel. All staff were friendly and very accommodating. Our room was very spacious and very clean. We will definitely be back to stay again! The area is convenient and walking distance from everything you need.

Great place to stay offers breakfast and it is right in the heart of san Juan it is small so keep in mind it is definitely a boutique hotel but they do offer large rooms to accomodate many guests we loved it!

I would stay in this boutique hotel over and over again. It's convenient to everything. The airport, the beach, the restaurants, the supermarket, the gas station, the highways, etc. The staff in the hotel are lovely and helpful. The room was small but for a solo traveler like myself it was perfect. Highly recommend.

I liked everything about the hotel except the fact we were the only ones on the floor without a digital keypad to get into our room. Also, no door in the shower so water splashes everywhere. We went through 4 towels to dry the floor

Nice privately owned property. Open for about 5 months. It has its charms but it is still rough around the edges. Some area needed proper finishing (grout between tiles in bathroom) and the elevator needs some serious updating. Also, to avoid any confusion, only the large rooms (2 beds) have a safe, the smaller rooms do not. That said, I am a big advocate in working with small business as much as possible. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I am sure as the hotel continues to grow and evolve, the small kinks will be resolved. The area is very very central and the price per nigh is more than reasonable. Would come back again (when the small rooms have a safe to keep valuables).
