Terrible facility and service
I’ve wrote to the hotel three weeks before the arrival and no reply at all. When arrived, you need to call for the shuttle bus, unless other brands, this hotel shared with some other small motels and has fixed schedule that sometime doesn’t meet your schedule. When we arrive hotel finally at 22:00, the front desk didn’t show any hospitality and I was just like talking to a robot. The worse part, there was thunder that night and all the power supplies all of sudden shut down. There was no flashlight available and none in the hotel can explain. The worse part came- they didn’t have emergency power supply so we carried 6 70lb luggages down from 3rd floor with kids… our trip was ruined even before it starts ( we transit via Houston) and the hotel stuffs didn’t care or ever show any emphasis or even try to provide any more information.

Everything was ok, except the restaurant.
If you come to have breakfast in the last hour of breakfast time, you may not find anything, but oh surprise, afterwards you see the hotel girls eating everything.

Not the quality of a LaQuinta
This hotel was not like the pictures. At night I felt like I didn't want to walk around barefoot because I feared stepping on something unpleasant. The shower part of the bathtub didn't work so I had to sit in the tiny tub part to wash off. The elevator felt like it was going to break down, and the hallway felt gross also. The breakfast was decent. It had waffles and some meat and egg patty things. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel was ok. They go through a 3rd party shuttle company so once you call the hotel it takes a little bit for the shuttle to get you. If you take the shuttle back to the airport make sure they give you the correct time. They said the shuttle would be there at 08:00 but to come down at 07:45. We got down at 07:49 and it had already left so we had to wait for the 08:30 shuttle. Each employee said something different.

Sorry, I out next Time
Room showed its age. The furniture was scratched or missing pieces. The carpet was very dingy. The shower was stained and the hotel room reeked of cigarettes. The heater AC unit was falling off the wall and stopped working during the night. There were no rooms available so we had to wait till the afternoon when they could get us another room. The second room was cleaner the breakfast staff, and front desk, personnel or rude, and didn’t show concern about their guest Breakfast. Staff started closing down breakfast before the end of the designated breakfast time the food served during breakfast tasted stale. One good take away were the ladies who clean the rooms were very pleasant. I won’t stay here again. This was one of our favorite places to stay when visiting Humble.

Poor experience
La Quinta are generally good hotels . I have never had a complaint whenever I have stayed. The coffe was poor and so was the breakfast . It just tasted horrible. Only bar of soap for hand wash . No body wash only shampoo and hair conditioner

Cockroach in the Bathroom
They did not call me for my wake up. In the morning, I found a cockroach dead in my toilet. Room 211 may also be haunted.
