We loved our stay here. Staff were friendly, room was lovely. Loved the access to the pool from our room. Location was beautiful. The only complaint I have was the cord from the kettle didn’t reach the power point. Also the milk provided in the fridge was open.

Everything you need
This is the second stay and it was as enjoyable as the first. Despite the resort being quite busy, the rooms were quiet. It was terrific to have undercover parking close by, what with the ongoing rain. The pools were great and uncrowded and the area was well lit at night so it felt safe to walk around.The units are well appointed with everything you need, and it was lovely to have a balcony with a view. Staff were helpful, courteous and friendly.The guests were kindly and behaved responsibly and respectfully. The place has a nice feel.

No food.
We spent about 2 weeks at BreakFree Alexandra Headland. The most disappointing point was when I booked it said there was a banquet room. Turns out there is no food or drink available on site at all. I wish we knew that before booking as that was one of the main reasons we booked. On the last night, our key cards just stopped working. We were out with friends and returned at about 1am. No way of getting inside. We had to call security which took another 30 minutes to get inside. All that being said, it was still an overall good experience. With great pools.

Fantastic location in the heart of the Sunshine Coast - with the beach literally footsteps away from the resort. The resort boasts an incredible lagoon pool that runs along the whole length of the resort. Unfortunately the main lagoon pool isn't heated - so is really only pleasant for adults to swim in on an extemely hot day (kids don't seem to mind though!) There is a lovely heated pool and spa at both ends of the lagoon pool. Our room was neat and tidy, but a bit dated. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a courtyard room, which gave us a wonderful sized courtyard to enjoy - just steps away from the pool. Plenty of great cafes and takeaway shops in the surrounding streets, as well as great cafes and restaurants a short 3 minute drive away at Mooloolaba.

Have stayed at the property many times. Love the location. Our unit was lovely this time. Only thing I could say would be that children need to be monitored in the pool. We noticed there were unsupervised children in the pool quite late in the evening and they were jumping off one of the bridges. We also couldn’t enjoy the pool as much as we wanted as they were bomb diving quite close to us. And yelling and screaming. Won’t ever book in school holidays again. Otherwise our stay was quite enjoyable.

Breakfree resort is a great spot for a vacation. The apartments are nothing fancy, but all you need for a relaxing stay away. Its location is great for walking to the beach and eateries, and only a short drive away from the shopping centres. The heated pool and spa was a hit for us, as we came during the cooler months. We loved our stay!

When we first arrived at the property the room we had booked was not the same as what was displayed on the Expedia photos. We brought this to the attention of staff at reception and we were looked after superbly by the staff, especially Jess who was awesome, which resulted in a room upgrade. The facility was great, but the staff were even better as they made our stay so good so a big thankyou to them!!!!

Smaller car owners should have been told to park underneath. The outside parking should have been for larger cars ONLY. IT was hard to find a park on the property at times for our large 4WD.
