It's a worth to experience living in.

This is a nice house. We can see through a window a farm with sheep and cow. However, it's a little bit hot inside the room at night time because we must keep the windows shut to prevent insects coming in when we sleep.

What a find!

Simply amazing! Apartment was a nice surprise upgrade but in any case this hotel is a great value for the price. Comfy kingbed, quality furniture, large bathtub, tv with streaming all setup, tea/coffee/biscuits at will. The entrance is a little underwhelming but the rooms are ace. Very convenient for the new forest. Highly recommend! Will stay again.

Sack your receptionist, bad attitude!

When we arrived we were greeting by the lady at the desk terribly. Her attitude stinks. She wouldn’t let me finish what I was saying about our booking. The booking stated we could have a free toddler bed, on arrival she charged us £20. This is not a 4 Star Hotel. The bathroom was dirty, the bath was falling to bits, the ironing board was disgusting. Bed that we paid for has springs coming though and I now have terrible back pain. Guy next door snoring all night the walls are that thin, and above us the noise from 6:30am was so so loud. We left and the receptionist was stood there smoking. Never ever again and will not be returning. I would advise you think before staying here.

Perfect for a short stay

Bed was very Comfortable. Room clean and well presented. Loved the fact that there was a small refrigerator in the room My only criticisms were that the TV was rather small & the road outside a little busy . I only used the tea facilities . Having said that I would definitely stay again

Would have rated it higher but we had a very noisy family above us which sounded like kids jumping off of the bed onto the floor! Very creaky floors as well. Lots of traffic noise too. Be aware that the Indian though 10% discount for staying here add on the exact amount you save onto the bill which you can ask to be removed, food and service was good though we got it removed and added a cash tip, though the same noisy family was behind us in the restaurant with screaming kids lol

Room was clean but booked this room because advert states air conditioning but it hasnt got air conditioning it has a cooler fan which is quite cold when filled with cold water but very noisy the room does have a mini fridge and kettle which is good but the mattress is 2 singles put together and is very soft and light in bathroom is above the sink and doesnt light the bath or shower so it ls quite dark when in there. We stayed in the Apartment. It slept 6, but there were 3 of us, so plenty of space. 2 bathrooms . No elevator , but only a couple of flights . No breakfast, but we ate breakfast at the Garden Center , 5 minutes drive away. Great place !Lodge location was ok. Obviously one would be driving to the Lodge . But an easy place to fine and easy access into Salisbury. Next door to the New Forest Lodge was an Indian Restaurant. We didn’t try it as we had eaten at a super restaurant in Salisbury. But the Indian restaurant was very busy ; lots of cars parked outside! Parking was easy and free at the New Forest Lodge . Big plus they allow dogs ! 10 pounds per night. Overall a good break and close to Stonehenge and the wonderful Salisbury Cathedral, which is well worth visiting and touring inside. Salisbury is well worth a visit !
