Locked Out Room at Check-in, Loud Morning Calls

I had an awful check-in experience at the hotel. When I got there in the evening no one was at the front desk and the access code to my room they supplied in the email did not open the door. I tried calling the number that no one answered and messaging them on the app but no one replied and I had no way of getting in touch with them. So I was stuck out of my room for 1-2 hours frantically looking for other hotels to stay at until someone finally showed up seconds before purchasing a last-minute room in town with no other options. It was incredibly frustrating and my plans for the night and meeting up with any groups or events were ruined. They were not able to offer me any discount on my room and I felt there should have been compensation. A discount of future days or another day would’ve made no difference since I had to leave town. Alsooo avoid staying on the first floor. I was woken up at 7 AM Monday morning to the front desk making loud phone calls on speakerphone for some reason and earplugs didn’t make a difference it was so loud. I could hear their whole conversation when I just wanted a little more sleep. They could’ve waited till a little longer and then later in the day to do that when the guests were up. The room itself was decently nice besides all this.

Incredible place, right in the thick of Roma Norte. The vibe is calm and bright with beautiful plants. The staff is super helpful and was at the desk ready to help! Great wifi, and our room had a good desk.

The location is excellent! It’s right in the middle of everything—so many great restaurants and stores. The front desk help was lovely, especially Karla Sanchez, who promptly moved us to a better room when the one we were in was too bright. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and beautiful with a gorgeous view of the patio. My only concern was the noise from the restaurant next door. They play music until 2am most nights. Luckily, they provide a white noise machine which worked well to block out the sound. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!

Beautiful building, clean, nice rooms, helpful staff. Loved the location - access to most anything needed within walking distance. Only suggestion I would have is NOT to rent a first floor room facing street side. The restaurant next door plays very loud music well into the am hours. I was there on a Thursday evening and the music did not stop until 0630...

Perfect stay in Santa Casa

Our stay at Santa Casa Tasman was fantasic. We loved the vibe of the hotel, small, unmarked door leading to a pretty courtyard and well designed rooms. It was a little oasis from busy CDMX, but also right in the middle of all the action. Rooms were well-design without being overdone and staff was friendly and accommodating.
