Easy stay, perfect size for family of 5
Perfect stay for our family of 5, we rented one of the two bedroom plus balcony rooms. Had everything we needed and was a perfect location for us. Would stay again if coming with family.

Beautiful Stay
Our stay at ULIV Cibeles was more beautiful than I expected! The hotel was in a lovely area, walkable to many restaurants, bakeries, convenience stores, etc. The room itself was just so modern and clean and lovely! I did not realize the other bed would be in its own private room (we got a queen bed and a king bed) and it was a lovely surprise. The view from the room was so nice and the refrigerator was great for keeping our waters and beverages cold. The gym was really nice downstairs and the patio area was lovely for sunbathing. I had the best time!

Great place to stay. Clean, modern and felt safe. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Communication prior to arrival and during our stay was great. Friendly staff. We were able to store our luggage before and after check in/out which was very helpful.

Great Location, Cleaning & Communication Need Work
Simple as this: some good, some bad. The location is great, the price is more than fair, the beds are firm and comfy, and the room seemed overall well maintained from the appliances and aesthetics. However, the bathroom was just extra gross and attempts to make it better went completely ignored, so it's hard to say that this place should have the 9.4 rating it has when I booked it. The shower was covered in a black mold/scum that was slippery. The bath mat had the same black stains, either from mold or from a footprint. There was white soap scum all over the sink counter and mirror. It just seemed like they skipped cleaning the bathroom altogether. Add that the hot water lasted all of 30 seconds or didn't even drip out of the shower head at all during our weeklong stay, it just wasn't a nice experience when using the restroom. When we asked them to come clean we were told we could book cleaning for a fee. When explaining that the bathrooms were not up to an initial cleanliness standard when we checked in, they said they would "send someone right away" while we were out, but no one ever came. Emailed management for help, no response. And when asking about how to get the hot water running the response was "turn on the tap." I don't know if every bathroom is as bad as ours, but if you value cleanliness, then I would consider paying a few extra bucks. I can overlook some comforter stains (which there were) but paying to wear sandals in the shower isn't cool with me.

Dirty will it stay here again
We have stayed at this hotel almost exactly a year ago. We stayed for a whole week to explore Mexico City. This stay the room seemed extremely dirty. The walls in the room were dirty. Including the bathroom. Honestly I am rating this based off the bathroom. I am not exaggerating when I say the bathroom was disgusting. The shower had soap scum all over the tiles. The grout looked full of mold. The corners of the bathroom were black. And to top everything off the main light in the room didn’t work so it was very dark in the room. Our room was not once cleaned in our week stay. We were also not given any additional towels. Throughout the week. We loved the first time we stayed but this last time was horrible. Will not stay here ever again. Also when we checked in the front desk person was very rude. Only upside is that it’s in a great part of town

Needs improvement.
If everything would have worked as expected, I would give this property 4 stars. But hot water was practically non-existent for the first 2 days. When I asked the front desk they initially said it's because I was on a high floor and that's just how it is. Disappointing, but they did send maintenance to look. Maintenance asked us to leave the hot water valves on in the bathroom while he went and inspected the system. We were heading out the door and were told that the front desk staff would let him back in when needed. However, he never came back. So a few hours later when we returned hot water was running and our place was a sauna. Full of steam, the walls in the entire unit were covered in water. The floors were soggy and wet. Front Desk came to help clean and I asked for complimentary housekeeping which they said would be arranged for the following day...Which also never came, and when I asked about why I received a small apology and an excuse that it was a crazy day. I was also informed that we were already entitled to a free cleaning but not once was this ever mentioned. Hot water worked that same evening, but the following days it would only stay hot for about 2 minutes. That's tough and impractical when traveling as a family of 4. So throughout our 6 days at ULIV Cibeles we only had one adequate shower and no cleaning service - though requested, especially after the inconveniences. I must say that at least the Front Desk employee was friendly.

Agradable pero más limpieza.
El lugar el acogedor y muy agradable, no obstante hay que poner más cuidado en la limpieza ya que el baño tenía mucho sarro en el lavabo y área de regadera. Asimismo, el piso del departamento no estaba barrido ni trapeado.

Wonderfull base to explore the City.
