good location for short stay

Good location. hard mattress, i like it and good sleep. luggage need to paid for storage. double room goodfor 1 person, 2 person maybe a bit small. bath room without door.

There’s a good location for travellers. It’s quite near the railway station and city center. The room is clean. The reception staff is friendly and helpful.

Nothing good. They banged on about being family run hotel but stuck 65+ single woman in horrendously noisy room and was told by worker they'd quiet rooms 10th floor! Noisy all night. Place needs refurbishment but things worked. Couldn't wait to get out. Paid FAR TOO MUCH for this place whose only good point is near station. Swiping credit card in case of damages more an indication of what clientele stays there. Never again.

Stayed at this hotel several times. You pay for the location, not for the standard of the rooms. This time, several things went wrong: no heating, no cold water; however, the staff was extremely service-minded and solution-oriented. The problems were fixed quite fast. I will return.

A worn down hotel indeed. No hot water in the shower one day, no water at all the next day. Not possible to turn down the heat in the room. Windows blended. Card for room stopped working every day. Nice location, but everything else bad

£70 for the night good value for money. Close to train station and city centre. Left very early so no breakfast taken. Basic. Hotel, no frills, reception staff welcoming and helpful, thanks !

The staff is very friendly and the receptionist is very helpful and observant after recognising my friend to return her bank card after she accidentally dropped it on the counter. Thank you. The room is clean but not much hot water left for shower in the morning.

I am ambulant disabled. When I booked I requested a room on the lowest possible floor next to a lift. I got put on floor 10 in a room a considerable hike from the two lifts I had to take to get to that floor. I asked what would they do in an emergency and was met with “oh are you disabled?” Fill in this form and presented me with a personal emergency evacuation plan. I had just filled out the booking in form so couldn’t be bothered with the peep. Also I had dropped my bags off earlier in the day and they charged a pound per bag. A total rip off considering the money spent on the room. Would not stay here again.

The hotel was great but the choices on offer at breakfast were very limited . My son is vegan and I also prefer dairy free options but were told that nothing was available. Therefore we had to get a refund and go elsewhere for a vegan breakfast

Clean comfortable room, a bit outdated and showing signs of wear but was fine with us. We didn't like the shower (though possibly fine for others) as soap dispenser in the wrong place which meant you got your hair wet when using it. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on it. Staff were friendly and helpful and all in all a good stay and we would stay there again.
