The hotel did not respond to my emails the day before check-in. I made contact via WhatsApp on the morning of check-in but still the hotel staff were not expecting me when I arrived (I was not on their list, they needed to call the manager). I waited for 45 minutes for the issue to be resolved and a room prepared for me. There is no dedicated reception desk, you must go to the cafe on the ground floor. The staff did not request my passport. I texted the host that my passport had not been requested, he said not to worry because he had "seen my photo on Whatsapp". This is highly suspicious behaviour because all hotels in Turkey are required to submit all guest passports by LAW. If your host does not request your passport, there is a good chance he has something to hide. In the room, the curtains do not fully close so it's impossible to darken the room (see photo). I had an issue with the toilet which needed to be repaired. Very noisy construction site outside.

I arrived early and they gave me free coffee and let me check in an hour before the check in time. Good service. Good location. Clean room
