The hotel itself is nice. Spacious, clean, and the rooms are nice. However there is essentially no service. Even when I asked for towels or soap (the push type shower soap dispenser was empty and never replaced- spoke with maid. Towels arrived but no washcloth or hand towels). It is a cashless hotel. So if you are only carrying 50s or 100s, then you can’t get change to use to tip the car valet or the people who might have done something special. The desk staff is aloof. They were proud to say the hotel is cashless and he couldn’t help. A different staff member explained at checkin that he could tell me where the bag carts are so I could valet myself. In essence, it’s clear that the business model is to cut services to the bone. A little attitude training for the desk staff would be useful. The car valets were friendly and courteous, but they are all managed by a contract service. This probably explains the difference in approach.There are many other hotels available at similar levels of quality. I travel frequently and from time to time try different properties. This time that didn’t work out.
