Lovely hotel (apart from 1 issue) staff

Front desk where very helpfull. Hotel main entrance is stunning. 4th floor was the only other floor we viewed, run down wall paper peeling from walls and ceilings. Our room was a fantastic size and separate bedroom for the kids. House keeping were extremely helpfull. But the only downfall was the extremely rude short elf looking man at the bar. He was rude not onky to me but other customers. Moaning he was busy and we should leave. Happy hours finished. Didnt visist bar again due to this encounter. Lovely location to beach and town.

Room was passable, hallways were musty & unclean, hoovers left in hallways both days we were there and the hallway outside of our room had what was left of someone’s hair extension trod into the carpet for the two days we were there..I did not see any housekeeping on either day.. Staff were okay, the leisure facilities were awful.. pool was cloudy and freezing cold, steam room was broken, the sauna was okay..changing rooms smelled like there had been a dirty nappy in the bin for days and wasn’t very clean.the bedroom was clean and tidy beds were clean and comfortable but there was no toiletries provided so make sure to bring your own..downstairs the reception area and bar were Pleasant, we didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening but we did for breakfast and that was fine..breakfast staff were nice and helpful..the best thing about this hotel is its location..the food and drinks are reasonably priced and you get what you pay for with the stay..unfortunately I don’t think we would stay again unless the hotel made some changes to the services they provide and maybe a little bit of a refurb.

Some way short of 3 stars

Lovely staff but hotel could do with a huge facelift. Lobby is nostalgic but sockets hanging off the walls bring you back to earth with a thump. Tinned fruit for breakfast was a nice twist.

The worst bed we have slept in

The mattress was horrendous. We could feel lumps while we were trying to sleep . There was no mattress protector. The pillows were so hard we ended up sleeping without one. It was so hot in the room and the window would not stay open.

Well Past It’s Prime

When we arrived no working lifts and no help with baggage, even though as 60 year olds they had placed us on the 5th floor!! Room was dated but very clean. Great beds and clean bathroom. TV not working and toilet seat lose. Fire door and staff closet door banged all night

Los pajaros

Habitacion estandar un poco sucia y abandonada. Cuadros y tv torcidos, falta de reparacion de pomos y otras cosas rotas, polvo ... Cable electrico suelto (parecia conexion de tierra) y lleno de polvo debajo del lavabo. Ascensor averiado afectando a numerosos huespedes con discapacidad y con dificultad para subir escaleras con equipaje. Habia fallado varios dias seguidos. Habitacion muy ruidosa por los nidos de aves marinas en las ventanas. Ruido continuo que interrumpe el sueño. Entra suciedad y plumas al abrir ventana. Riesgo para la salud en caso de gripe aviar. Abstenerse en caso de fobia a las aves. Puntuacion excelente por ecologia y respeto al medio ambiente. Paraiso para los amantes de la ornitologia.

Never again!!

Honestly, the worst hotel ive stayed in. Staff were polite but certainly not willong to go out there way for you. Breakfast was edible. Bar snacks were mostly unavailable due to shortage of staff or lack of key ingredients. The lift broke several times a day No cleaning during your visit, including emtpying bins, or replacing towels, coffee etc:
