The owners are very invested in their property and it shows in terms of cleanliness, friendliness, and overall experience. Every staff person is helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The location couldn’t be better! Would highly recommend and will stay again when in that area.

Clean room, great breakfast and very comfortable bed. Fantastic view from balcony. Parking close by and convenient. Go to the tourist information booth in town for the parking pass. Only 5 euros a day.

Hotel Rheinfels was wonderful. The owner checked us in and was very friendly and welcoming. Our room overlooked the Rhine River - beautiful. Immediately upon arrival to the room my husband used the bathroom and commented on the cleanliness - He never does that!! But the bathroom truly sparkled. The cleanest hotel room/bathroom we had during our tour of Europe.

Beautiful River view room with balcony, very clean, wonderful view of the Rhine, right next to dock for cruises and near train. The hotel staff was most friendly and helpful especially the Indian gentleman at the desk and the very friendly man serving breakfast.

Lite skumt faktiskt!
Otrevligt vid betalning, tydligen hade innehavaren bestämt sig för att vi skulle betala kontant. Påstod att det var fel på alla mina kreditkort (3st). Jag kontaktade min bank, inga fel fanns. Men ägaren menade ändå att mina mastercard inte gick att använda i hans terminal och att det var fel på korten. Tvingades uppsöka ATM, och kom ifrån hotellet ngn timme senare än tänkt och på dåligt humör. Fick till slut ett sk kvitto på kontantbetalningen som inte påminner om de jag tidigare fått, inga löpnummer bara en papperslapp med ägarens namn. Ett fall för skattemyndigheterna?

Best view on the river.
We were a group of 6 traveling to celebrate my wife's and my 35th wedding anniversary. We booked three rooms, one with a balcony, and we couldn't have been happier with our location. When you first walk into the room you get a full view of the river. With the balcony, we found our selves watching the on goings of the city, including the many boats going up and down, and across the river. Our host the manager (owner ?) was extremely helpful from the time we arrived to the day we departed, even saving us time by finding a faster. more convenient train schedule to get us to Frankfurt. A very nice breakfast, spacious rooms and clean throughout, my only wish was for an elevator...which I am told they are getting next year. Next time I'm on the Rhein, I will stay at the Rheinfels Hotel.

Great location, reasonable price.
Hotel was very enjoyable, for a very reasonable rate. Could not beat the location. Right across the street from the K-D river cruise dock, and very close to the train station. Just know that the hotel has no elevator, so if you have problems with stairs or moving luggage up/down multiple flights of stairs, you had better request at lower floor. We were also able to add a nice breakfast for a reasonable amount. Take advantage of that if you can! It's a great breakfast!

Beautiful location.
We stayed one night only at the Rheinfels Hotel but wish we had a second night. We had a balcony room and waking up to go out in the morning to overlook the lovely Rhein is priceless. The hotel itself is slightly dated but bed was comfy and room clean. Great power in the shower! Breakfast was fine. The owner, Alexander from India is very nice and friendly. It has an atmosphere of a bed and breakfast.
