Bad sleep
The room was extremely hot, needed the windows open to be able to sleep at all so it was also noisy from outside and the smell of cigarettes came in from staff taking breaks. There was a cleaning cupboard right outside the room constantly being opened and slammed. The shower was either scalding hot or freezing. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were nice. There was a fridge in the room which was good but it would tick on and off all night and make so much noise it would wake you up every time. Had a couple nights of bad sleep. Location was great.

Great spot for Lincoln historical centre
A last minute overnighter and this place is a great bolthole for visiting wonderful Lincoln. Attic bedroom clean comfortable with v nice bathroom en-suite. Above what looks like a great restaurant and minutes away from the cathedral and castle. I will be back

Hidden little Gem
Lovely little find….lovely staff, very comfortable, beautiful dinner…. Should advertise the fact it’s part of the college more we only found this out during dinner and found it fascinating.

No service whatsoever.
Reasonable price so didn’t expect a lot but there are no staff on site and the telephone contact number given has an answer machine and no one called back. The shower will not come on, the chef came up from the kitchen but could not get it to work either. Be wary if you book to stay here !

Great little place, good location
Lovely place, would definitely come back. Very clean and directions to get in all clear. The flooring is dangerously slippy though in the rooms, don't walk around in just socks! The senser/timer for the hall light in room 3 was too long and disturbed sleep. The location was ideal though and right near the cathedral and a great curry place.

Despite booking over a month before we intended to stay, our booking was cancelled at 5pm on the day of our stay. Had to find another hotel with a vacancy which cost more than our original booking.

Property was very good but we stopped room 3 and there water pump under bath wich was vibratiing very badly all night. I reported it to staff downstairs and all i got was apologies and no one would take any action witch spoilt my sleep all weekend.

Comfy bed with decent shower. Quiet location. Just watch your head on the low ceiling! Restaurant downstairs is amazing and definitely worth a visit.

Renovated bedroom and shared bathroom. Good location 100 metres from castle. Street traffic somewhat noisy from around 7:30am. Emailed directions were fairly thorough for self-checkin but Googlability would be improved by correcting 'Occupation Street' to 'Road' and mentioning that 'Old Bakery' is a restaurant. Possibly temporary problem, during a warm weather period, is the 'window under repair - please don't open' sign.
