NO one showed up or responded tro our inquire for help. We never got into the property We never got help with our requestes WORST experience ever. I emailed asking for a refund after not getting in the 2nd day. I will be pursuing with my credit card/bank - I believe this is nothing but a money grab

Worst communication I've ever experienced

The room was nicely equipped and clean. We were attending spruce meadows, so the location was excellent for us. I rented two rooms and one of the rooms.Only had one roll of toilet paper for2 people.for days. The batteries in the t v remote were dead, and when I contacted them about it, they did not provide batteries.Nor even respond to my complaint. Communication was terrible. They required a picture of my I. DA picture of me holding my IID and adamage deposit for the room. The communication surrounding the delivery of all this information was extremely poor. We had to finally resort to using whatsapp for them to receive the information and for them to reply. You cannot contact them by phone. They said they would provide check in information forty eight hours before I was to check in.Once they received all the necessary pictures of my I d and my damage deposit. I hadn't received any information with less than twenty four hours before I was to check in. They don't have any staff on site.So communication by whatsapp was the only way to get in touch with them. I repeatedly asked for the check in information and was ignored. I contacted hotel.com and had a supervisor try to get in touch with them and have them send me the checking information. No luck there. I was driving to calgary before I received any information about check in which was stressful to say the least, as i'm not sure i'm going to have accommodation when I get there. Dont stay here

The bed was too soft for us but other than that, it was so very comfortable and very clean. Hotels take a deposit and I’d, so it did not seem weird to be asked to do that

The house is beautiful, clean, and modern. We just didn’t expect that there is no air conditioning but only air circulating system at home that I believed should be mentioned in their house description in the website for them to be aware. It is okay if the weather outside is cool, but if hot like the time we visited Calgary , air circulating system is not really enough to give comfortable environment especially when summer when the temperature is extreme. Just an honest review. Thanks

Difficult communication with new apartments

Communication is difficult as there is nobody in the premises. Everything is remotely done, even opening the door even when coming late! They charged for extra person, even all people were already included. I called them and did nothing! Reserved for a pet free apartment (more expensive than the pet friendly as per their and) and found that they gave us a place with pet toys and smell of pet pee on the pillows! It looks nice and new. Everything is functional and in good condition. It was very hot and did not know how to cool it down. TV did not work.

No air conditioning and 85 degrees in the apartment apon check in. Tried communicating with management but once i stated that it should clearly state no air conditioning in advertisement i got no further response.

très grand, très propre. Il faisait très chaud dans l'appartement lorsque nous sommes arrivé et il n'y a pas d A/C. Il faut appeler un # de téléphone pour ouvrir la porte du loyer pour la première fois.

Do Not Stay - Beware!!!

When I first arrived at the apartment, I was immediately disappointed with the accommodations. 🏨 The room didn't match the pictures I saw online, and it felt like the opposite of the cozy getaway I had in mind. Frustrated, I decided to contact Hotels.com to cancel my reservation. To my relief, they assured me that I would receive a full refund. 😊 However, that's when things took a turn for the worse. Later, the company that managed the apartment informed me that I wouldn't be getting a refund, contradicting what I was told earlier. 🤔 This was not only confusing but also quite disheartening.

GLOBALSTAY was not helpful when I reached out to them about the noise in the apartment above me. Constant banging and dog barking often. They were smokers and it came into my suite. Cigarette butts on my balcony area and I had my dogs with me. So that was not pleasant. Someone was smoking on my balcony area when I was away. There was a cigarette butted out on the ledge by my door. Carpet was in need of cleaning in the living room area. Overall, not the relaxing experience that I was hoping for when I booked this. I could not go to bed early because of the noise above me. I would not book this if you are looking for a quiet place to stay.

The air conditioning does not work despite multiple attempts to fix and communicate with property owner. It was unpleasant as it is hot inside the unit. The only good thing is that we are only in the unit in the evening. We were told to open windows which helped but noise from the outside disturbing. Last, the property is pretty clean but the toilet brush is disgusting. It was not cleaned from previous occupants and no plunger so had to buy from dollarama to unblock. We left the plunger there. Last, the communication is only via email so missed one communication that went to my junk mail. Overall the was okay except for the points mentioned. We left the property as per check out instructions and no damage to any of the property as a result of our stay

The place was lovely, but they open the door/ lock at the end remotely. When we arrived we had to wait 10+ minutes to be let in and when trying to check out over 30 minutes before we got a reply that they were locking the door. Only apology was that they were busier than normal at that time.

WARNING: this property is awful. They demand government ID to be emailed & a deposit to be taken through PayPal. This is against Canadian privacy (PIPEDA) and they should not be permitted to operate on Expedia.

Good stay, difficulties with communication.

I had mixed experiences with GlobalStay in terms of communication. They consistently would send me messages via email and the hotels.com inbox without providing the email address they wanted me to send information to or without key information. However they responded pretty quickly to me fixing their mistakes. They also ask for a damage deposit didn’t really give information on how to do it, their links routinely didn’t work which made things feel like a scam. When I asked they rectified the mistake. The actual stay was nice, clean apartment, spacious and nice layout. Gets very hot and you can hear water running through the wall from the upstairs units. Other than that the stay was great!
