Please note they take a break everyday from 3:00pm - 6:30pm. We arrived at 1:30pm to check in, and was told that the room will only be available at 2:00pm. We then decided to leave our luggages, take a walk and come back in the evening. To be sure, we double checked with the receptionist if we can pick up the key in the evening - and she said yes! We returned at 6:00pm and realized there was no one at the reception. We stood and waited outside until another staff arrived at around 6:40pm. It will be great if the staff can inform us about the break at the first place…and apparently, no one pick up the phone or doorbell during the break, though they stick a note asking you to ring the doorbell if you need any help.

Helt greit hotell å bo på i Firenze

Det var ett fint lite hotell jeg hadde valgt for mitt besøk. Ikke mange rom men valgte dette pga pris. Sov godt. Frokost med i prisen var nok å velge i. Hyggelig ansatte. Bra wifi. Bra seng. Deilig dusj. Kort vei til severdigheter alt jeg ville på var nesten i gang avstand. Rundt 15 minutt gange fra Sentralbane stasjonen. Er ganske bereist så fant det jeg ville i byen eller tok offentlig transport. Rommet ikke så stort men klarte meg godt.

The hotel is renovated, the location is good however, the seriously problem with the air conditioner makes our days miserable. The Temperature in Florence on July is 36 degrees Celsius. The hotel front desk guys turned off the lobby air conditioner arguing they feel sick, the hotel elevator and hallways don't have air conditioner at all. The air conditioner on the room didn't work at all (we have to move to a different room and same thing), we spend two days sweeting at night with kids (2 years old and 6 years old). The refrigerator at the room didn't work as well, and wee need it to keep our baby milk refrigerated, so basically the hotel solution was to bring the milk to the lobby refrigerator, and we had to walk down 5 floors to pick up the milk at midnight to feed the baby. The breakfast is also a disaster, it is included but they give an exactly time you have to eat, otherwise you loose the breakfast... the have 7 am / 7:30 am / 8 am / 9 am and 9:30 am... so you have to choose any of these times to get breakfast. We asked to talk to a manager and during two nights and 3 days, front desk guy always said manager is not available. By the way after 10 pm all hotel personnel leave and basically it turns in ghost hotel after 10 pm. If something happen you are at your own. We do not recommend this hotel. POOR This is a 1 or 2 star hotel, overpriced for the conditions mentioned above. We request a formal refund to www.hotels.com but was refused.

We arrived at 12 pm so my room wasn't ready, when we came back al 10:06pm nobody was at the front desk i sent a text to the number that appears in the door and we had to wait more than 10 mins for someone open the door.

Bon hôtel

L’hôtel est bien et bien entretenue. Bien située également. Le déjeuner bien que limité est bien Le coté négatif est la salle de bain, aucune ventilation et la douche dans un coin sans aucun éclairage.

Great Budget Hotel

The receptionist was great! We were able to leave our bags where he stored them away from the entrance for a few hours before we checked in to our room. When we came back he had brought our luggage to our room! The breakfast really wasn’t great so we decided to eat elsewhere while in Florence. The room was spacious, clean, but the best part was the the air conditioning! It was the first time on our trip that we actually got cold. The WiFi in our room was not good at all, but that may be due to the location of our room in regard to the building layout. Overall, our stay was great and the location is perfect for everything we did in Florence!

The hotel Uffizi Aurum is very well located. You are within walking distance to major attractions and even train station. The rooms are small but have all that you need. The receptionist and service members were very friendly and helpful. They do offer a small basic breakfast, which is OK. Definitely would recommend the hotel fue its key location.
