Adequate for a Night’s Stay

Adequate for our needs. Bathroom needs upgrading. No tea & coffee making facilities in room. Paid for parking when we arrived, went out for the evening and no parking available when we returned. We had to park in the public car park nearby. Hotel did refund the car park charge

Great friendly hotel

Staff were very friendly. We had no issues with our room. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was a little tired but at the price we paid it was suitable for our needs. Overall the hotel was well situated for our travel needs, being a short walk into town and the railway station. The bonus was that it had it’s own car park which was charged at £10 per day which we considered reasonable. We will use this Hotel in Staines a lot in the coming future.

Not worth the price

Upgraded to a river view room. Unable to open doors due to a restricter cable. Pictures on website look like you can. No aircon. Room and bathroom was in good condition and clean. Shower pressure terrible, toilet also quite hard d to flush. Check in took an age! Outside of hotel and stairways are tired need refurbishing

Good location but was in room 59. This was miles away, up and down corridors and stairs. Worse still, code for door didn't work on second day. Had to trek back to reception again after long day at work

Nice hotel. The room was very warm so I had to leave the window open and this led to quite a bit of noise due to my room being on the main road, however a fan was provided and this was put to good use. Thanks to the maintenance guy for lending me his extension so the fan reached my bed head. The plug sockets at the bed sides need to be changed to U.K. style….as we are in the U.K. after all!!!!

Hotel Stay

When i arrived from walking from the station. The receptionist advised my room was on 2nd fllof and no lift. I was quite out of breath so she kindly gave me upgrade to ground floor room with doors opening and i could view the river. The hotel bedrooms could do with a face lift to modernise them. Also, i was on the toilet and noticed a creepy crawley on the floor so removed it to utside. Otherwise a very nice stay with breakfast.

No hot water, broken minifridge, no duvet

Shocked to find out there was no hot water in the showers only when we went to shower. Asked reception staff and they told us their water boiler had been broken for a while. The minifridge also doesn’t work in all rooms. Although the staff were understanding and accommodating and let us shower in another room, it was extremely frustrating that we weren’t told this at check in. They also said they had no rooms to switch us into. We got a family room with the sofa bed and there was no duvet for the sofa bed either. Overall, an extremely disappointing stay even if the staff were kind.

Most disappointing. Booked as a Mercure hotel and expected Mercure standard. Air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted, both taps in the hand basin malfunctioned Paid for a double bed and were given two singles. Difficult to plug the kettle in with PowerPoint arrangement and no fridge, even though there was the space for it.
