Overall, a great experience

Positives: Friendliness and helpfulness of staff, commitment from staff and hotel to ensure stay is positive, daytime food options, amount of beach chairs, spacious room and bed. Negatives: Evening food experience (quality of food, service). We felt we got our "money's worth" and the "couple's only" vibe kept things chill and quiet.

Relaxing couple getaway

We stayed here four nights on our honeymoon i none of the casitas. All I can say is... wow. I don't think I've ever been so relaxed. There was always space beside the pool or on the beach. No fighting peopel for lounge chairs. This is not a party resort. It's a great place to just enjoy yourself in relative peace and tranquility. Great variety and quality of food. We had dinner at a different place every night (4 nights). Tacos in the afternoon... The service and all the people working here are so lovely. In particular, Brian at Le Bisoux, Russel at El Mar & 'Big Ben' Benicio helping us with everything else. Highly recommend this hotel, we will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved our stay! From arriving we were greeted by the wonderful staff and Fernanda made our check in easy and enjoyable. Her positive attitude and enthusiasm along with her smile made it so welcoming. Our Junior suite was spacious, cozy, and full of amenities. Everything from a fully stocked refrigerator with sodas, water, beers and snacks to extra pillows and blankets, to house slippers, robes, beach bag, and even an umbrella for a rainy outing. The atmosphere at this boutique resort is quiet and relaxing, the beach is awesome and plenty of lounge spaces unlike the bigger resorts. Food was phenomenal and a large variety of food options available at all times. We enjoyed the lobby bar every evening and Juanito and Gilberto were great and even remembered our names and drink orders from our first night there. Definitely a more intimate experience and personalized service. We enjoyed our time at the beach and Luis and Benito made sure we had drinks, food, and clean towels at all times. We would end our day with some time at the pool and enjoyed drinks at the swim up bar with Abner, who was great with keeping our drinks full and also recommending some specialty drinks. The spa is a MUST when staying here, beginning with our complimentary hydrotherapy massage to us booking a couples 75 minute “beloved” massage. So relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommend this smaller boutique resort and you will definitely not be disappointed!

We were looking so forward to our trip, but were unable to fly out due to an ice storm in our home city. We were working with a third party travel agent, and we rebooked for June. American airlines were absolutely great in refunding our flights and rebooking for us...however we are SO disappointed that Beloved would not work with us AT ALL. I understand a no refund policy, but we are not asking for our money back, we are just wanting to rebook. This is very bad customer service to not even post half of our previous payment toward the new travel dates. We now have to pay for 5 days that we were not even able to travel, PLUS a new trip we booked in June. We have traveled a lot, and have never had this kind of VERY POOR customer service for paying customers. Now I am not even very excited to travel there in June after this very disappointing experience.

The property was beautiful and well kept. The ocean was beautiful with lounge chairs readily available. The service was impeccable. Every person made our experience special. All the personnel were attentive to our needs. Our room had everything we needed and was spacious. The food was well thought out and tasty. We made it our morning rounds to get lattes. The gym was very well equipped. Night time entertainment was lacking some but we were there mainly to relax.

We loved Beloved for our honeymoon. Very relaxing and calm atmosphere. Our first day at beloved we went to la isla for lunch and dinner and the food was disappointing. No flavor even the dessert was plain and dry. The rest of the restaurants we ate at were amazing. The taco truck is a must and you can’t skip out on the sushi bar. We were pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality of fish at the sushi bar. Service was always on point and we had no issues during our stay. We took advantage of the complimentary sailing offered by aqua world which was a nice bonus to booking this resort. Aquaworld has other water activities for an extra cost but it’s super convienent to be able to sign up at the booth on the beach and then walk next door to excellence to do the activities. We ended up paying for the parasailing. We wish to return to this resort in a year and maybe take our parents or other friend couples along with us.

If you’re looking for top tier service and peace of mind while on vacation… this is your spot! Stayed in the Junior Ocean View Suite and it was more than perfect. I will definitely be returning

It is a place to rest and have pace, it is not very lively, the food, cleanliness and staff attention are exquisite. It’s a good place for honeymoon or to reconnect as a couple.

This resort is not 4-5 stars as advertised. Food was ok nothing to brag about. Beds and pillows in this place are so hard and uncomfortable. Food options were average at best. So if you want an average place with below average food this is your place.
