Beautiful Boutique Hotel
Service was excellent, staff was super friendly, and free breakfast was delicious. Bed was very comfortable. Our room was missing certain amenities like a mini fridge, robes and slippers which might have made our stay slightly more comfortable but not a dealbreaker.

Nice choice
Avery modern hotel with a lovely ambience. Luisa was a wonderful host, and we enjoyed the breakfasts. The lack of lighting on the stairs to our room was scary walking up and down. The shower was a bit funky too with it spraying everywhere and with a hard spray. But for a 5 day stay it was safe and upgraded and in a good location.

The location of this hotel is great. Easy access to all things condesa has to offer. I do struggle to find the value in the cost of this hotel. It is a beautifully decorated hotel, but lacked some luxurious amenities for the cost. First, it's very loud, the building is not soundproof at all, you can hear everything outside and inside and with no AC it's hard to keep windows shut. Second, check in and checkout is confusing. There was no one onsite that spoke English which made communication difficult. The room was dusty, had ring stains on the tables, and mold in the shower. The shower fan also leaked ice cold water that dripped on you while showering. I think the place is fine for a place to stay, but at this price point we were disappointed. The staff seemed nice during the little interactions, and we appreciated the daily room service/new towels. I imagine there are similar properties nearby at a much more affordable price point.

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a beautifully designed & decorated hotel with friendly staff. It’s quiet and peaceful with pretty good options for breakfast. The neighbourhood is awesome - again, generally peaceful, but plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

When you pay 500 USD per night there are things you expect. We arrived at 8:00pm to a place that had only one person working. We wanted to have some dinner at the room but that wasn’t available l. I ordered some hot chocolate that I had to fetch and bring to my room, while entering the room there is a very thin step that I didn’t notice and I fall, spilling the chocolate on the floor and on the duvet. I went down to ask for assistance and there was no one. I cleaned as best as I could using a towel. Next morning, only one staff member taking care of everything including making breakfast. We were hungry but the poor guy asked if we could wait for half an hour. When we returned, more than half on the few options were no longer available. After I left and without previous notice, the hotel charged me an extra 1500 pesos to clean the hot chocolate spill. I tried contacting the manager but it was a waste of time. The place might look nice on the pictures, but the rooms and the bed are smaller than expected. The Terrance had no service and the jacuzzi was empty. With so many nice places to stay at Condesa, I recommend you use your money wisely and go elsewhere.

Unpleasant experience
Casa Luciana was one of the most unpleasant hotel experiences I’ve had in recent times. Upon arrival, we spent several minutes at the door trying to ring the doorbell, which was not working properly. The staff’s reception was impersonal and unwelcoming. There is no elevator. The room, in my view, had dust in the corners and was not cleaned properly. Don’t expect any welcome message or anything of the sort. There is no minibar or air conditioning in the rooms, only a ceiling fan. You receive water in a jar upon arrival, with no indication of its source or quality. We accidentally locked the bathroom door, which got locked from the inside. When we asked for assistance at the front desk, we were handed a container with 200 unmarked keys, left to try each one until we could open the door. When we ordered sparkling wine from the menu, we were informed that none was available. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working, and consequently, neither was the television. Breakfast was supposed to start at 8:00 am, but on the third day of our stay, we left at 8:00 and walked past the breakfast area, which was completely inactive. Two guests were waiting for someone to arrive to start the breakfast service. The room cleaning service basically makes the bed. Used glasses and cups are left exactly where you put them. I have never seen service like this—awful. I would never return and do not recommend it for anyone who expects even minimal attention during their stay. Positives: bed, linens, towels and shower
