Sunrise priceless
Breakfast was poor. Bed uncomfortable, sofa mattress was in bad condition, first night have to set mattress and cushions on the floor. The only way to communicate w/ front desk is going down to. Housekeeping was helpful (3/1-2025) Great location for the best sunrise.

Amelia Seaside Inn
Beautiful hotel with amazing ocean views. They had a bottle of wine and candy waiting for us in our ocean view suite. Bathrrom was nicely updated with a walk in shower and there was a Kuerig coffee maker, small fridge and microwave in the area where there was a loveseat and writing desk along with a TV. Another TV was in the bedroom as well (queen size bed). Only issue in the suite was the blinds needed replaced as they had broken and hanging slats, but we pulled them all the way up to enjoy the ocean views so we didn't have to look at them. Breakfast was nice with lots of hot options if you didn't want cereal or bagels. Front desk person was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was in a great area close to historic downtown Fernandina although too far to walk. We would definitely stay there again.

Pet fee hidden
The problem I had was with Hotels.com. We needed a pet friendly hotel. Seaside Amelia Inn came up but they had a $100 pet fee for one a night stay! Hotels,com did not show this in the reservation. Beware!

Cute hotel!!
This is such a cute hotel right in the beach! It was perfect! The guy working the front desk was so nice and polite! The only thing I would suggest is more lighting in the parking lot

Disappointed
Advertised as suite, but would not call it that. The bed wasn't changed as the sheets were sandy. Also, room wasn't stocked and items that should be there were missing. Coffee pods, hair dryer. The pics on their site are very deceiving, know this happens a lot.

Nice hotel and Keira at the front desk is amazing!
Very nice hotel and clean and cozy. I got the partial view balcony suite and enjoyed relaxing on the balcony, enjoying the ocean view. Keira, the front desk employee, is very nice and accommodating... Friendly as well. My plan was to leave after one night but I liked this place too much.

Second Stay
This is our second stay here with our dog. I love the convenience of being on the ground floor with our own outside door for quick exits for the pup. It's also a beautiful location, right on the beach, with The Sandbar right next door. It's a great location and wonderful value!

On the Beach and affordable!
Upon arrival on NYE the lobby office was dark and nobody was at the front desk while another couple waited to check in as well. Once the gentlmen arrived he politely apologized that he was the only one working. He looked like he was returning from doing some maintenance. Check in was a breeze! We parked in the underneath parking garage which was right next the the elevator and very convenient. The room was decent. The shower could have been cleaner, the body wash was empty and the conditioner dispenser was broken off the wall. The lotion dispenser didn't have a bottle. The ice bucket had old water in it from melted ice but had a new bag drapped over the side. Just a lack of attention to detail for the housekeeping. The view was amazing from our balcony to the east but was blocked to the west. The close proximity to have our toes in the sand was amazing!! Breakfast in the morning was delicious from the biscuits and gravy, bacon, bagels, cereal and waffles! Coffee bar had nice add ons like flavored syrups. The area was beautiful and I would stay again because the area for improvement aren't deal breakers for us.

NYE stay
Great location and rooms. Denim, the front desk agent was super friendly and helpful. The view is amazing and you are steps away from the beach. Breakfast was good and the attendants worked hard to make sure it was always well stocked. And even though it was NYE it was not overly loud
