Potential Wasted
It's a beautiful hotel indeed, with a lot to offer: a historical embience, elegant decor, spacious rooms, convenient location (both Duomo & Fontana di Diana are within a 10-min walk), simple yet adequate breakfast....
But all these good qualities are offset by a lack of maintenance of its facilities (shower head that seems like breaking down and keeps leaking water from its handle, air conditioner that shuts itself down within 30 mins of operation...) .
Service-wise the front desk is only manned for limited hours a day and you won't be able to seek help or advice outside these hours. I reported the facility defects to the front desk staff but at the end of my 4-day stay, they were not fixed.
All in all, a mediocre stay that should have been great. Full potential wasted!
