We love the Sterling Inn. Have stayed several times over the last few years. room 219 was not idealfor us in particular. The furnace seems to be located directly above us and would kick in very loudly repeatedly throughout the night waking us up. It also is a corner Room, which means it haswindows on two sides of the room. Lots of lovely light in the daytime, but not so great for someone who likes to sleep in darkness. Obviously not a fault of the room, just not ideal if you like to sleep in the dark. Has a wonderful, large balcony, would’ve been nice to stay in with nicer weather.
The bathroom is showing some signs of wear and tear, but the fireplace was amazing on such a cold weekend. Loved the free breakfast.
The only other downside is there are no automatic front doors, so if you are pulling luggage it makes it difficult to navigate. Even a handicap accessible door lever would be helpful.
Overall love the Sterling Inn and will definitely be back and request a different room.
