Do not go here, total scam.

It was horrible. First no parking even though it says it has parking. We were charged extra for parking twice for 1 night lol. These people are straight liers and they argue to the end. Free breakfast wasn’t good but roof top is beautiful. Our air condition did not work and room was too small.

The workers were wonderful. They got us taxis when we needed them and were picked up on time. The room was nice and clean. The food was great and the waiter was kind to everyone. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great time.

Breakfast area overlooks the Sea of Marmara, stunning. Breakfast itself is adequate. Ramadan is a fantastic breakfast host. Room is adequate and cleaning is good. Hotel is very close to Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. Reception is attentive and helpful. No complaints about hotel.

Pour visiter Istanbul, l'hôtel est idéalement placé. Proche de tous les monuments principaux du centre historique, on peut tout faire à pied. Le bémol, est qu'il se trouve à un carrefour où les touristes sont déposés pour commencer leur visite. La terrasse est petite, mais présente une vue incroyable sur le Bosphore, merveilleux!

Nothing unique. The whole area of the room, bathroom/ shower is too small, even for me, and I am a petite person. The first room had a leakage in the shower. We were transferred to the 2nd room which was the same size (very small) with no Iron and a cheap facility. Sorry, but I wouldn't recommend this place.

Lovely stay - highly recommend

We stayed here for 4 nights. The staff are lovely and welcoming, especially Mr. Faysal and Mr. Ramazan "Rambo", who took the time to have tea with us and make us feel welcome during our stay. Location is superb, 5 mins away from Hagia Sofia so great if you want to get there early to line up for tickets. We really enjoyed breakfast and the view from the breakfast area is nice - you either see Hagia Sofia or the strait. Highly recommend this hotel if you're considering where to stay in the Sultanahmet area. We would return here if we are in Istanbul again.

I absolutely loved my stay at Valide Sultan Konağı in Istanbul. It’s such a wonderful hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cleanliness stood out from the moment we arrived—everything was spotless and well-maintained. A huge thank you to Ramazan, who made our stay extra special. He went out of his way to arrange a thoughtful birthday gift for my son, which was such a kind and memorable gesture. Breakfast was another highlight, especially with Ramazan’s special eggs—cooked to perfection and a great way to start the day. The location couldn’t be better—just a 3-minute walk to Aya Sofya and situated right behind Topkapi Palace. It made exploring Istanbul so easy and convenient. With its amazing staff, perfect location, and welcoming atmosphere, I can’t recommend Valide Sultan Konağı enough. It’s the ideal place to stay in Istanbul!
