A stay in front of the beach

The hotel is in a prime location, with a beautiful beach in front. Bus transportation to the old town is quite easy, with a bus stop right outside the hotel. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. It was a good experience.

The hotel is tired and in need of updating, the reception staff are wonderful, helpful and friendly. The barman in the evening was rude, bad tempered and made everyone in our group feel that we were an inconvenience. Breakfast was very good a massive selection and all very fresh. Loved the area but wouldn’t return to this hotel.

Great place to stay..

This is a great hotel, situated beautifully by the water and simple in it's decor and offer to guests. Stayed here with a friend and we both loved it, excellent breakfast and lovely to sit and look at the water whilst eating away. 100% recommend for value stays in Dubrovnik.

Hotel Vis is about 2.3 miles from Dubrovnik Old Town. Lapad and its beach/promenade are very nice and relaxing. I walked to Old Town and back on two occasions. A bus route is available as are taxis.

We got a room with a huge balcony with an excellent view. The hotel is worn and there is mold here and there. There is also a funky smell in the hotel. Breakfast is ok. No sunbeds were provided (mid October).

The hotel is well located, only a 10 mins bus ride to the old town. They are on the beach and the staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the hotel needs a major renovation. It looks a little run down, the walls are so thin that you can hear people coughing in the next room. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location on the water, away from the crowds of old town, with easy access to the beach. The staff are very nice, friendly and helpful, even with arranging late night airport pick ups. The rooms are okay with balconies facing the water or orchard or courtyard. The property is a bit old, and could use upgrades to the rooms and sufficient AC. Net net - good experience at good price point.
