Nice hotel located in central Gzira. The lobby and public areas are very nice. Rooms are large and well equipped. The rooftop pool is great with plenty of sun beds so is a great place to relax. We were given a room under the restaurant, which was very noisy from 6.30am. We asked to change room which the hotel sorted out by the afternoon. Parking is 15 euros a night. You can try and park on the road but the area is quite busy. Overall, a nice hotel but can be quite nosy so might not be the best choice if you want a quiet stay

Excellent!

Excellent hotel. Staff were friendly. Anything that was wrong or we ran out of was sorted straightaway. We booked a studio suite so had a kitchen (incl kettle, microwave, oven, fridge/freezer etc) so we were able to eat in or out. Ideally placed - 5 minutes walk from a few bus stops. Into Valetta in 15 minutes. Can travel all over the island easily. Recommend the bus card (unlimited journeys for 7 days) Plus fast ferry to Gozo. Pools you have choice of the roof (amazing views up there or the indoor pool and spa. Yes, I know a few reviews have stated they can hear noise, we could (seems to be via doors, especially banging doors) but this wasn’t enough to detract from our stay or remove a star. One of the best hotels have stayed in! Must visits are Mdina (Knights and Mdina Experience), Valetta (Lascaris War Rooms, Upper Barrakka, Saluting Battery, Monestery with secret garden, The Malta Experience)

Absolutely fab hotel in terms of facilities, size of room and the pool and spa areas. Also a great location in Gzira, minites walk from the promenade and the food in the rooftop restaurant is fantastic. Our one major complaint was that the sound insulation is poor - we were woken everyday between 6.30am and 7.15am by loud banging coming from the restaurant in the hotel right above us as they set up for breakfaat (we were on the 10th floor). If staying here, look for a different floor or if you are an early riser, you will be fine. Could hear no noise from outside which was great as roadworks and building were going on beside the hotel. However the insulation against noise coming from the floor above was quite poor. We had broken sleep throughout the week long stay as a result (a shame as the beds are super comfy and the room gets blackout dark).

We felt so good at the place

We loved the place. The localisation is good, the services fantastic, staff so nice. Just the walls are thin and you can here your neighbours or noises in corridor. But overall i am looking forward to see them back

I had a great 12 night stay in my studio with kitchenette, hotel has confortable beds and wonderful comforters. Breathtaking views from roof terrace with incredible infinity pool. I had the pleasure of meeting the manager James and at reception, Marina was kind enough to help me with my taxi arrangements to the airport.

Good apartments. Clean, modern, adequately equipped for simple cooking. Nice pool on roof, plus down stairs pool and good gym by hotel standards. Only complaints were that by end of week 2 out or 3 elevators were out of service which made going in and down slow. Roof bar was more expensive than bars on bays which was a shame. Were in back facing room with balcony overlooking tatty apartment buildings, next time I would defo try and upgrade to sea facing room on upper levels.

We had an overall pleasant stay at this hotel with some positives and negatives. Highlights: The room was very spacious, modern, and very clean. There was the option to change towels daily, and the bed was made nearly every day — excellent housekeeping service. The kitchen was well equipped, ideal for self-catering. The bathroom was lovely and well maintained. A true highlight was the fantastic rooftop pool with a great view over the city — at least when it could be enjoyed. Additionally, the service staff were super friendly and always helpful. However, some downsides: The balcony view was far from pleasant directly overlooking dilapidated ruins, which definitely dampened the atmosphere. The pool area was often overcrowded by large groups of language students who were loud and inconsiderate, making relaxation difficult at times. Another downside was the lighting in the room, which was either very dim or extremely harsh with industrial-style tubes, making it uncomfortable at times. Location: The location is excellent — very central in Gzira, close to the airport, and well connected by public transport. The ferry to Valletta is reachable within about 20 minutes. Perfect as a base for exploring the island. Conclusion: A well-equipped and very clean hotel with great potential, but with some drawbacks regarding relaxation due to the view and occasionally disruptive guests. The friendly service staff added a positive note to the stay. Recommended with some reservations.

Veldig ryddig, fin beliggenhet og profesjonelt hotell. Fantastisk rooftop med basseng, bar og restaurant. Frokost ikke noe å skryte av, men kjøp heller i resepsjon enn i restauranten (pris). Anbefales, mye høyere standard enn i turistområde til ok pris

The room was great. Breakfast in the rooftop restaurant was great. The staff were friendly and helpful and even when a wardrobe door got stuck, this was fixed during breakfast.

Fantastic stay at the Grands Suites. The suite had everything we needed and more. Bed was so comfortable and great air con. The rooftop bar & pool area is amazing, it would be lovely if it was open slightly later in the beautiful weather Great stay, many thanks....we're be back

I didn’t care for the breakfast. Glad I didn’t buy all days ahead of time. I did have a massage and it was great! Walls are thin, could hear everything inside hallways, upper rooms and outside. Definitely enjoyed the full kitchen! Nice strong shower and sheets and towels were fine!
