El Hotel muy cómodo, la limpieza perfecta, de acceso facil al área de playa. Suficientes sillas de playa y camastrones para el área exclusive. Atención en la playa. No recomendable para nadar en la playa frente al hotel, muy rocoso y lleno de zargaso. En el hotel Catalonia vecino (de niños) dentro del mar hay un acceso a un canal y piscina natural, eso compenso no poder nadar frente al hotel. Solo es de tener cuidado pues hay mucho viento.

The Catalonia Royal Bravaro resort will be my go to , this was my first time in the Dominican Republic and I had a wonderful experience. My room was clean and well stocked , the staff cleaned everyday so I came back to a clean room . The food was always good . They have a fantastic staff , friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Everyone made my Vacation perfect.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful property on our honeymoon! Would definitely recommend. We really appreciated the activities they had planned throughout the day, and that they quieted down by 10-10:30 every night (our room was facing the outdoor stage).

The property grounds are beautiful! There are enough spots for photo ops. An hour after my check in the power went out. We were left without running water and communication as hotel phones and cellular service alsovwas lost. This ordeal lasted close to 5 hours. Their back up generators blew out ( that's what we were told). When service was restored, water pressure was low and dining options were were very few. Liquor options at the bars were not great. I never received my complimentary bottle of wine to my room , I asked twice. Last night of stay was interrupted by a leak and plaster falling into the jetted tub while I was in it. Good things: Best food was at Thalassa and Bloved. The beach was beautiful. I enjoyed massages by the ocean on two separate days. Beware of the sales pitches. I had to politely say NO a few times, more than I wanted to.

Beautiful grounds- a lot of exotic plants and trees all manicured! Water ponds with fish, turtles, ducks and geese! Rooms are outdated. No hot water after morning- really annoying! First 2 days there was no tv- some problem with cable connection, refrigerator didn’t work, towels holder fell of the wall! On the fourth day we had a loss of power for entire resort- that night we were served cold food in the dark with some flashlights illumination! We’ve tried 5 evening restaurants and would rate them from mediocre to horrible! Buffets were more or less ok- one can always find something to his/hers liking!The beach itself is beautiful but we couldn’t swim in the ocean due to seaweed everywhere!

This was our first time staying at this resort. Loved the adults only with the option to enjoy wha the family side had to offer. The grounds are gorgeous. Easy to navigate around the resort. Cleanliness of room was amazing with great cleaning service daily plus turndown service if you wanted. Our cleaner left us a gift one day as well which was super thoughtful. Staff were all friendly & engaging. Daily activities that were entertaining and fun. Night time entertainment was great. You can use the app to find out what activities are happening daily. One thing was you have book your suppers. Breakfast and lunch you didn’t have to but we didn’t know this prior to coming and how quickly some of the more popular restaurants fill up. Wish we had booked all of our suppers on day 1. But the restaurants we went to were all outstanding with great options. Wait staff was always friendly and there to offer drinks etc. One night we had a mix up of reservations and they got us in no problem. Concierge was helpful and friendly. The way we were greeted at the resort was amazing. Lots of pool and bar options and well laid out. The only thing for the main pool with the pool bar is people will get up really early to save their loungers. Not the resorts problem but it was a little annoying as people would save a lounger and disappear for hours. We truly enjoyed our time here. Want to come back again so we can experience all the restaurants as there’s so many options with the family side as well.
