My family had the pleasure of staying at Sultanhan Hotel - Special Class，and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The rooms were immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located in a great area, close to all the main attractions in the city. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant served a great variety of Turkish dishes. I highly recommend Sultanhan Hotel - Special Class to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Istanbul.👍👍

Room clean and ready. The air conditioner and heater did not work. It became hot during day and cold at night. We could not open windows because someone below always smoked. Someone had smoked before in the room. Beds were good. There was no microwave of coffee maker. Breakfast was included but was not special. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Location was about 10 minutes from the mosques. Overal it's a 3 star place.

The rooftop restaurant is excellent for its views and its extensive breakfast buffet! Also a perfect location for walking to the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar. We also made use of the hotel's airport transfer service, which made arriving to the hotel easy and arriving at the airport in time no problem.

Disappointed. The lamps in the room did not work properly and the whole place feels seriously outdated. I understand that it is supposed to be vintage themed, but it honestly felt like walking into my old grandfather’s house where the premium feel they claim to offer is just not there. For the price and the reputation, this is unacceptable. Yes, the staff are polite, but that is about the only positive. The mens toilet in the basement, right next to the spa and sauna area, absolutely stinks. It is disgusting and definitely not what you would expect from a hotel of this level, especially one that has a Turkish hamam and sauna right beside it.

Staff were lovely and breakfast was good, including the great view from the restaurant. The room (104) was at the back of the hotel, and very noisy from all aircon units of surrounding buildings. The bathroom was tired looking and in need of some TLC (patched up bath, damaged mirror frame, etc). But the bed was clean and comfortable (with the exception of 1 lumpy pillow).

L’accueil était impeccable, la chambre bien propre salle de bain également. Le personnel aux petits soins Le petit le petit déjeuner copieux et bien sûr à volonté sous forme de buffet À proximité des deux grandes Mosquée, la Mosquée bleue et la Mosquée Aya Sofia. Nous les avons visitées à pied de notre hôtel. Si je dois revisiter Istanbul, je prendrai le même hôtel.

Bra med alternativ på mat. Samma mat varje dag. Olika priser på samma middag (?). Lägger saker på bordet man inte beställt (?) och påstår att det är gratis men kommer senare på fakturan. Receptionen är vänliga och renligheten på själva sängen och badrummet är bra. Men under sängen fanns det tjockt lager av gammalt skräp från andra tidigare besökare och damm. Om du råkar tappa din mobil eller annat under sängen då behöver du verkligen ta en dusch efter att du tagit din sak. Ja lite mixade känslor. Du kan höra andra från andra rum inne i ditt rum. Det är lite obekvämt.
