Yearly Family Getaway
For the past two years Redding has been a great spot for a family get-together for our NV, OR and CA residents. Last year our room was fine. This year we were given a handicapped room that was run down with surprisingly uncomfortable beds. Obviously they are old like us. However, the staff at this Hampton location is super. Also, the location is convenient for all activities.

Broken car
The room was nice, clean. Jacuzzi was out of service. The A/C in the fitness room was broken making for some extremely warm workouts. The side door close to my room had a broken latch on it. Many times was unlocked. When it was locked the handle was down and had to be held up while swiping card so if you had stuff in your hands you had to set it all down on the wet (raining) sidewalk to open the door. Staff was friendly, quick check in. Breakfast was good. Different eggs or omelets each day along with changes for potatoes or biscuits and gravy.

I would definitely stay here again. The hotel was extremely well maintained and clean. It felt new and up to date. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The room was clean but had a smell. The breakfast was good. The hot tub was broken. The exercise room’s air conditioning unit was broken and has been for at least one year because we stayed last year and it wasn’t working then. Same sign.

Not the best. Outdated. Lack of maintenance.
The warm giant pool and free hot breakfast were amazing! Unfortunately, hot tub was broken. Rooms has many maintenance issues like mold in tub and rust on fixtures. Pool gate was broken. Chairs were old and gross. Needs a remodel from 20 years of aging. Warm water at check in wasn’t appreciated… they can’t make it cold? No pool towels ever. Lack of service all over. I guess the beds were comfortable and with good pillows. Free parking. So overall we just felt okay about our stay. Wouldn’t book again.

We were greeted by friendly and professional staff. Check-in was fast and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom needed a little tlc around the caulking but not bad. Breakfast was mediocre but edible. Location provided easy freeway access. I would stay here again.
