Great boutique hotel and location in Byron
Great location and great service, got upgraded to the Cosy Corner, which was much appreciated as we booked for a 5 nights stay. Great room with a beautiful canopy bed. Surprised it was a boutique hotel/hostel as it wasn't mentioned in the description of the hotel but still happy with the premises along with the helpful staff.

New owners. New experience.
Having stayed at the property regularly over the last 5 years, it pains me to say that since the new ownership group have taken over, the place has changed for the worse. No daily cleaning, change of towels, housekeeping. Backpacker vibe has returned and it is very much a party hotel with loud music and conversations in hallways until sunrise. Hotel rates for a backpacker experience. Unfortunately, will not be staying here again.

Dette er et ungdoms hotel. Så vi følte lidt at vi var gamle 😄 vi havde værelse med eget badeværelse, her var kun et meget lille vindue som man ikke kunne se ud af. Hotellet ligger perfekt.

Great location
Ok hotel. It is sort of a backpacker place with some room with privat shower/toilet. Exelent location. They did not clean our room or gave us new towels. They got us new towels when we asked for it. Hotel was ok. If location is important for you.l, book this place. If you want super great service, remember this is a backpacker place and book somewhere els. Have a pleasant stay. Car parking in basement is 15 aus dollar a night.

Private room in a hostel
Great location in the heart of Byron. Just know what you're signing up for - a very comfy private room + bathroom within a backpacker hostel. It has a lively atmosphere + fun events with a young clientele overall (I'd say the average age is early/mid 20s). Unfortunately the wifi was really poor for video calls across the 2 nights I stayed there (even in the lobby) and the communal kitchen was always packed and dirty. But a comfortable stay aside from those things!

Could do with a microwave in private rooms. Also, a clothes airer in rooms that have a balcony. Overall, a great stay. Friendly staff, excellent amenities. Clean, safe and a lovely little community.

The smells coming from the communal kitchen are not good. I suggest better extraction in there. Had to walk passed from my room to the stairs. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful
